He indicated that everyone was off for the holiday. However, he took my call and took the time, while he was on the phone with me, to look through their inventory. He found what I needed. He took my name and set the strings aside for me. I asked if he had the set for an alternate tuning. I gave him my number and within 15 to 30 minutes called me back to tell me he had found what I needed and reserved the strings in my name. I was so impressed with the customer service Chris provided, when he could have asked me to call back on Monday. I took my uke to the store on Wednesday and left it with Steve, a very talented and knowledgeable musician and friend, to restring it. He took care of it while my wife and I enjoyed lunch around the corner. I highly recommend the guys at ABBA's Music to anyone who plays an instrument and values great customer service. THANKS!

I walked in the door and was greeted by an employee who was very friendly. I explained the story why we were there and that we needed something with the town name on it- it just so happens that half the family plays guitars and so this was a great stop. The owner came out, gave us a shop tour and I must say this place rocks (I know, I know). He spent about 20 minutes with us and couldn't have been nicer to my 9 year old twin girls. In fact, he gave them a few free guitar picks. That said, he has a great business with a cool name along with an awesome logo. So...I bought about 8 tshirts for a great price. Couldn't be happier with my experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone- even you're not a guitarist, just to come and buy a tshirt and meet some really nice folks - thanks again! I went in the store to "test drive" some guitars. It just so happened to be my birthday. I had a…read morepocket full of money and intentions to buy a Martin guitar, kinda like a birthday present for myself. I knew they were a Martin dealer from what I had read. I'm not from Evansville. We were visiting from Kentucky. I already own some Martins, but I wanted to add a D-18 to my collection. There was nobody in the store but me......and two employees, one older gentleman and a younger guy. I asked to play a D-18 hanging in the front room. The older man told me to take it in the acoustic room and play. I assumed it was acceptable to play any of the guitars in that room. I took the D-18 back to the front where it came from and hung it up. I went back to the acoustic room and played two other guitars. That's when the younger guy came in and basically told me to leave. His exact words were "I have to clean all these guitars after you play them and that one you're holding costs $7,000." He said it in a condescending tone, as if to say "there's no way you could afford that". I told him about one of the Martin guitars I own that is valued around $10k. I was hinting to him that I know how to handle expensive guitars. He said "Good for you", again with a smirky attitude. So I hung the guitar back on the wall and left the store. I will NEVER go back there and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody else. They have some nice guitars, but they treat it like a museum instead of a guitar store. The guitars are to "look at......but not touch". Again, I was the only customer in the whole store. It wouldn't have been that much trouble to come in the room with me, talk to me, ask me what I was looking for, offer to let me play some guitars. Instead, they just left it wide open....and then got mad when I played a couple of the guitars. It was a weird, unsettling experience. My advice.........STAY AWAY.

I entered and was amazed with the amount of stock they carried in what seemed to be such a little store. I told the man, my grandson will be 10 and wants a guitar. I don't want to buy a "toy", but I also don't want to invest a large amount of money until I'm sure he wants to pursue this path. He led me to the perfect guitar for him, and it was reasonably priced. I'm very happy with the purchase and hope my grandson becomes the next Keith Urban! ;)
