I am only writing this review because I just can't stand that the only review on yelp is from…read moresomeone who obviously does not know this bank. Commerce Bank is not your average bank. They are for wealth minded people and businesses. They are discreet, and offer a wide array of personal services. If you have never been to a bank like this one, you would be amazed. You feel like "wow, this must be where movie stars bank!". There are no bank tellers. You arrive, sit at a desk, and meet a personal banker. If needed, you may be escorted to an office to complete your transaction, and they will even offer you coffee. If you are unable to go to the bank, not to worry, they will send a courier to you with your withdraw or to pick up a deposit. Even if you are not one of "Seattle's Elite" (as I certainly am not!), you feel like a millionaire with the way they treat you and their overall style. Unlike any other bank I have ever been to, you will feel like they honestly value your business. It's too bad that they are called a "bank". When I think of a "bank", I think of the tired bank tellers who have no idea how to help me beyond a basic transaction, and the attitude of "if you want anything beyond what I feel like doing, I will tell you to call our 1-800 number where you will be put on hold for half an hour and we will still not be able to help you because we don't know our new policies that change every 3 minutes anymore than you do". Commerce "bank" is a wealth management service. I wish I could think of a better word than "bank" to call them! They are worlds above what any of us would consider to be a "bank". I am a bookkeeper and I have experience with many, many local banks. Commerce Bank is in a league all it's own, and worlds above other banks. It's just down right classy!
