Without exception, every member of the practice team, nursing team, and GP team is incredibly lovely, kind, considerate, and empathetic. They always take their time to listen, they reassure where they can, and they truly act within the best interests of their patients under their care. I have complex health needs and have been under the care of many, many health professionals and teams for the last 40 years (since I was a young child). I honestly don't give high praise lightly. In particular, I can't even find the words to articulate just how much praise and gratitude I have for Dr Taylor. There are many, many wonderful GPs; but she really is a shining light. The surgery itself is one of the smallest in the area, the benefit of which is that you don't feel rushed when seeing staff for an appointment. Nobody likes having to visit the Doctors, but this practice makes visits as easy an experience as possible.

Able to offer appointments on the day for emergencies or in the evenings outside of work. The doctors never rush you neither if you want to flag up more than one issue! Your repeat prescriptions can be delivered to your local boots store or pharmacy if this is more convenient. I wax actually gutted to leave when I moved again outside of the catchment area. Highly recommend for anyone in the jesmond area!

There is an adjoining pharmacy and a good range of specialised support people and sessions. The only downside is the parking which is inadequate for a practice as busy as this. It would be unfair to finish without mentioning that the receptionist on my last visit was pleasant and helpful and had a large supply of patience (not your typical doctors receptionist at all)

For all the standard prescriptions and last minute unexpected items that you need, such as cold and flu remedies, plasters, pregnancy tests, hair products, skin care items - and you know the rest. It's awesome little chemists like this that bring back childhood nostalgia for me. I don't see those novelty children's bubble bath any where else except these kinds of little chemists! I'm not sure the reminder of childhood nasty medicine is a great thing, but the good service and wide range of handy quality products certainly is good!

I came here to get a prescription and some cough medicine and even though the chemist was pretty packed - I was served quickly, politely and efficiently. The only downside to this place is that it never seems to be open! I don't know if I was dropping by on the wrong times before but the doors seemed on lock down for a while. This chemist is really close to my house so it's ideal for me to get to - I only wished they were open a little more often. Or that I got ill less often..!

I've seen three different doctors at this practice now and he's the only one who didn't make me feel as though he were rushing me out of the office. (My last appointment, with one of his colleagues, was literally over in four minutes flat, despite my questions about some complications I'm having with medication.) The practice itself seems efficiently managed. Appointments can be made online, which is really nice. You can check yourself in upon arrival and they generally run fairly close to on time.
