After researching many apartment complexes, Dré was the first to respond and was always quick to answer all the questions I had; a reassuring quality that I would come to experience every single time there was an issue or hiccup. Dré, Chatauna and the entire team facilitated a seamless transition from beginning to end. The ease of communication, the attentive and efficient system they have in place is exceptional - and that was how it was throughout our entire stay. Our maintenance requests were always taken care of right away. If we didn't buy a house, I would have loved to live here forever. The Amesbury itself is the best complex in all of Greensboro. Plenty of parking, a gym, pool access, pet-friendly, security alarms in your apartment, washer & dryer connections, gated. It's centrally located, well-maintained and safe. Even the postman and main UPS delivery person assigned to the complex were amazing and looked out for our packages! It really is a community here and doesn't get any better. I loved our neighbors and yes, you might be able to hear some noise if you're living downstairs but this is an apartment complex, not a house; it's to be expected. From Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Greensboro, NC, this management team is en pointe. We had the best experience living here. Thank you.

These are beautiful apartments right in the heart of downtown, they have great staff, and the…read moreclubhouse has an amazing workout area. My neighbors are quiet and overall it's pretty nice! I would love living here except the following things; It's right next to the train station. Holy %#^* the trains lay on their horns at night. It's almost impossible to sleep when drunk people are standing on the tracks and the trains lay on their horns. Nothing this apartment complex can do about this, but you were warned. I am a corner lot so perhaps the other buildings are better but I'm in building 308 which is the furthest from the trains so I doubt it. A white noise machine has helped, but not much. There are cockroaches. My place is spotless and cleaned regularly but idk if it's a neighbors place or what but they are huge and seem to come from the laundry area. There seem to be some spots outside where water comes in but idk. I've vacuumed about a dozen of them up while they were on the run. You were warned. The water pressure is horrendous. It's a green building, so you'd expect restricted flow but it takes four times as long to take a shower.....I've peed harder than the water comes out of the shower. For real. I look forward to hotel stays just so I can get a good shower. In this instance they went way too far. It's fine low water pressure in the sinks and toilets but since you can't get a decent shower it's frustrating. If you are touring the facilities, turn on the water and you'll see. It's about a third of what it should be. I've called maintenance and they are always quick but they always say there is nothing they can do. Building 308 the west gate never works. It hasn't been fixed in two months. Since I'm on the west side I end up walking around the other side of the building. Parking Spaces are COMICAL. It should be illegal how small they are. I measured and if I am directly in the middle of my spot I have less than a foot to get out of my car. Get home before 6pm if you want a spot to park. It's almost impossible to get in and out of spots unless you have a compact car. Other than the trains, cockroaches, water pressure, security gates, and parking situation, this truly is an amazing place to stay. The staff does an amazing job and maintenance is quick except for this gate for some reason which just keeps breaking. Really not much they can do about the water, trains, or parking, but you've been warned. It's really nice besides that, and you'll love the on site workout facilities.

I moved into City View on December 23, 2024, and resided in Building 307, Unit 3A. During my time…read morethere, I experienced ongoing issues with roaches and pet allergens. Although I do not own a pet, the apartment was covered in pet hair upon move-in. My child has allergies to cat hair, dog hair, and roaches, which made these conditions especially concerning. Despite raising these issues with management, roach sightings continued repeatedly throughout our stay. To clarify, just because an apartment is pet-friendly doesn't mean pet hair should be left behind. I've always lived in pet-friendly apartments and could never tell whether the previous resident had a pet or not. For it to cause health concerns for my child, the amount of hair must have been excessive--and in this case, it absolutely was. I even purchased a pet-specific vacuum, but it still couldn't remove all the hair. My carpet was professionally cleaned twice through a company contracted by City View, yet pet hair remained throughout the apartment. The complex uses Terminix for pest control, but the roach problem persisted. The first time I saw a roach, I went to the leasing office the very next business day. I spoke with Crystal, the property manager, and showed her a photo I had taken. She looked at it and said, "That's an American roach, which is common in apartments." I've never had roaches in any home I've lived in, and I didn't even know there were different types until I moved here. I've also attached a few of the mass emails that were sent to residents during my time there. Overall, my experience at City View was horrible from day one.
