She came from a public school in Sedona but it was not challenging enough. Even though it's a one hour drive, we are delighted to take her here to Flagstaff because she has discovered the love of learning again. She loves Latin, and Physics, and Advanced Geometry. During this time, a piece of ice struck my son on the back of the head, forcing his head forward into his forehead and breaking his glasses. The teacher attempted to fix his glasses but did not seek medical attention for him or notify me. CPS/DCS personnel were present at the school and also failed to ensure he received care or that I was informed. I only learned of the incident later that evening when my son told me what happened. A few days later, he developed a high fever that required medical attention. I asked if it could be related to a possible concussion from the impact, but no diagnosis was made. Fortunately, antibiotics were given to prevent infection. This shows a complete lack of common sense and duty of care.
