They sell seeds and other cool little trinkets. The staff, a young woman, was extremely helpful on filling me in on local culture and finding everything I needed. Great for your gardening needs! read more

All I can say from experience is humiliation…read more I called this place too see if they had any soil for my garden. I was talking to them in Spanish, which is a language I speak fluently, and couldn't remember the word for soil, so I used the word in Spanish for soil on which a building is built upon. When I got there they were laughing at me, snickering behind my back. It was humiliating and I would not want to go back. That being said it wasn't very expensive. It's a small locale, pretty, with lots of different flowers and plants. I love flower shops, so I really hope this is just a fluke, but I don't think I'll be going back.

First off, if you're into beading or making jewelry, the blocks surrounding this store are your…read moretreasure trove. There is store after store selling beads, some specializing in certain types and others running the gamut. This particular store only carries items handcrafted or made in Spain-- you will not find cheap Asian goods here that break, lose gems, etc. They also carry a handful of pre-made items that they've constructed such as long necklaces out of leather ropes and beads, rings, hat pins, bracelets and more. The pre made items especially are a good value; you can get a 30" long necklace, very modern and cool with sterling silver beads and perhaps stone ones as well, about 19-30 euros and handcrafted by their staff. This was by far the busiest bead store on the street when i visited today; they have a number system, so be sure to grab one near the door when you come in if it is crowded. And, much like at meal time in Spain, take your time once you are being served and have all your questions and curiosities entertained. They carry beads, beading fastenings, bead closures, leather rope, leather ribbon, sterling silver beads, glass and stone beads, and finished goods among other detailed items. If you are looking for something unique or hard to find for beading, you should try here first.
I was lucky to run across this pottery store in Barcelona. My last day in Spain and my one pursuit…read morewas to find a store that specialized in handcraft Spanish ceramic art and pottery. I had visited several ceramic stores until I found a store that struck my attention. If you have a passion for authentic handmade art then (Vic, 5 Artesania Popular) is a handmade Spanish pottery store with a variety of exclusive traditional and contemporary crafts, pottery and ceramics. I must say that I loved everything in this store, although I had my eye mainly on a large (beautiful yellow golden and rich brown bowl) which was a reflection of the Spanish culture. You will find over 70 styles and pieces of ceramic art here. Whether it's traditional or contemporary, I definitely recommend it! This store highlights the Spanish culture through several influential images of practical and inspirational ceramic art pieces. The prices are beyond reasonable, rarely you find something with quality that is not over priced. The customer service is excellent and very much knowledgeable about handcraft Spanish art, artists, and pottery. I plan on purchasing a few more items online, they ship almost anywhere. I regret not purchasing a few of their Spanish tiles to compliment my terrace.
