Miss Alejandra and Miss Jessika are an absolute wealth of information to me and my husband. They take the time to help us mirror the Montessori style at home. Caroline recommended excellent parenting books that are helping us improve our parenting techniques. I'm also grateful for the school's commitment to a peaceful and respectful atmosphere. There is a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and conflict resolution, which has positively influenced how my children interact both at home and in the world around them. Something was wrong and the child's teacher was constantly talking down to us. Everything from not bringing the right food to water bottles etc. Our kids in the elementary program told us that the teachers were talking down to them and pitting them against other students. Teachers requesting alcohol for teacher appreciation week- and becoming visibly irritable that we didn't provide alcohol. Keeping alcohol on the school property where kids could access it. This school has so many issues. When we first began we had a wonderful teacher. And she eventually left, and we learned this was in large part because the teachers are also treated poorly . I'm concerned that this school is still operating. If you send your kids here, please know that if their behavior is concerning at home, or if they resist going, or are stressed- it's not just a phase or them getting older like we initially thought. Listen to your child. We saw immediately our children getting better after a month detox from this place- and never sent them back. Beware of this place. It's just a paycheck for most the staff there - your kids deserve better. Take the pay cut, bring your kids home, whatever you have to do to keep them home and safe. This is not the place.

My kids attended Alexa Playc at Rady's in Murrieta (Hancock and Los Alamos), and I truly cannot speak highly enough about this preschool. Both of my children absolutely loved it. We would not have kept them there if they hadn't. They woke up talking about their teachers, and when asked who their best friends were, they often named a teacher, even though they had plenty of friends too. That alone says everything. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, every single staff member is warm, welcoming, compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, and deeply connected to the children. You can immediately tell they understand child development and genuinely care. The ratios are small, approximately one teacher to three or four children, and there is always plenty of staff present. You won't hear children crying. You'll hear laughter, learning, and play. Children's emotions are encouraged and met with real connection, kindness, and respect. This is one of the most truly child-centered programs I've ever seen. One of my favorite aspects is the experience and education of the staff, but what truly sets Alexa Playc apart is the observation room. Parents can come in at any time and observe through a one-way mirrored room where you can see and hear your child without the classroom knowing you are there. This provides incredible peace of mind and allows you to witness authentic, loving interactions between teachers and students. I have experienced other home daycares and childcare facilities, and many of them are concerning due to high ratios and limited staffing. At Alexa Playc, children's needs are consistently met. The staff is happy. The children are happy. Everyone is engaged and supported. Even the meals are thoughtful and well planned. The outdoor area is wonderful and filled with toys and opportunities for exploration. Drop-offs are smooth, and if a child does struggle, a teacher is immediately there to comfort and support them, whether that means holding them until they regulate or helping them transition with toys and connection. When my son was 18 months old, I worried about sleep transitions. I watched through the observation room as staff gently patted his back, held him, and even rocked him to sleep during those early weeks. Their care truly goes above and beyond while remaining highly professional. They currently have openings, which is rare since there is typically a waitlist and we waited almost a year. They serve children starting around 18 months through preschool age in a secure facility. If you are looking for a truly child-centered, developmentally informed, and loving preschool, I cannot recommend Alexa Playc enough.
