It was a very pleasurable evening, watching the ducks and the other tourists. Service was quick, as in abrupt. He was running at high speed taking our orders, getting drinks, setting up the fondue, etc. If we were indecisive whoosh he was gone but he would be back ready to try again. A delicious meal with a picturesque setting made this a delightful experience.

We first try to get seated at the restaurant patio around 3pm but the host said that we weren't allowed to have only drinks on the patio and pointed us to the "American Bar" I'm not sure why they called it that as it as there was no signage indicating that was the bars name. The American bar was a great vibe and their comfy leather couches made you want to spend the afternoon drinking cocktails paired with chocolate and complimentary olives and almonds. There's shampoo/conditioner in one and body soap provided. However, if you like bar soaps, beauty bars and conditioner ... make sure to pack some. And don't forget moisturizer. This hotel was booked through Viking Cruises for the end of our river cruise. It is a beautiful hotel with really good customer service. The morning breakfast was included with our package, and it was very good. Besides the price the other complaint that I had was that the stand-alone shower was smaller than the one on our cruise ship.
