Lexi combines Ayuvedic bodywork and herbal knowledge with Thai massage as well as some amazing facial massage techniques, and the result is something that felt more deeply therapeutic than most bodywork I've ever received. She was super thoughtful of my needs, took care to focus on areas that were in extra pain/distress. She has a really healing touch, and she's kind of an alchemist - every element; from hydrating electrolytes to the medicinals in my steam were noticeably effective and enjoyable. Nice extra touch - the studio is a sensory delight, too. Everything smells amazing and it's very visually pleasing. It feels like your treatment starts when you enter the building. Side note - the steam treatment is a tent that sits over your whole body on the massage table, so you're lying down (which is wonderful as opposed to the seated type of tent), and it was wild to feel the pain melt away from my joints with the wet warmth. It looked okay when styled in the salon, but once I got home it was obvious how uneven, awkward, choppy, and over-thinned one side had become. My hair no longer falls naturally or smoothly, and the ends now look frayed and damaged rather than cleanly cut. I have honestly never been this dissatisfied with a haircut before. I ended up having to go to another stylist to try to fix it, and even they told me there's only so much that can be corrected right now without taking off even more length. I was advised not to cut my hair again for several months so it can grow back enough density to reshape properly. I also think clients should be clearly warned before razor cutting or aggressive texturizing techniques are used, especially on very fine hair, since many people may not realize how dramatically it can change the texture and density of the cut. If you have very fine hair, I would strongly recommend being extremely cautious about razor cutting or aggressive texturizing techniques.

Honestly I was extremely disappointed and I did try to express that i was not very happy with the results and she told me I could buy more. 770 dollers is a lot for me and I had saved up expecting something better. I'm also 19 years old and was 18 at the time, and she told me I have good cheek bones, but "who doesn't want more" which is a red flag to me. It just felt like she wanted more money and didn't care about my face.
