This is a review for VPT tours..
We took a day tour to Segovia and Avila. Segovia was on my bucket list while visiting Madrid.
The tour cost 38 euros and included air conditioned bus, walking tour through Segovia which included great highlights of the Roman Aqueduct, Alcazar Castle and Iglesia San Martin.
We had a great guide, Amelia, who intelligently and thoroughly explained the rich history of Segovia.
The tour allowed one hour of free time to eat delicious food. We chose El Bernadin, a gorgeous cafe that overlooks the gorgeous landscape of Segovia and came highly recommended by Amalia.
For 16 euros, one gets bread, choice of appetizer, entree, glass of wine and dessert.
I highly recommend the Caesar salad, Pollo asado au jus with potatoes and the scrumptious flan.
VPT tours books numerous sights at reasonable prices.
