Pumpkins and more pumpkins

Great variety of pumpkins, gourds and apples. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, brought back memories of fall which I missed since moving away from MN

Play area

Apple picking was lots of fun for the kids to do. We started out in a play area where the kids could burn some energy. They had sand, swings and a small maze for little kids. They had a blast. When we were ready to pick the apples, a tractor came around every 20 minutes or so for rides back and forth. We purchased a $10 1/2-peck bag up front so the kids could fill it up as we walked along the rows. We bought gourds & pumpkins and the price seemed fair. I noticed also they had a good price on cabbage so I may return for some soon. The only thing I wish for here is the baked goods or cider that other places have. However they are not set up for something like that. All is all, this place was not a disappointment.

The people were friendly, fresh veggies and plenty of place to move around. It was nice to stop here one afternoon.

So close to Rochester and super fun place to go, don't forget the Strawberries, Rhubarb in the spring - should be coming soon.

It is $8/person for a 1/4 peck of apple picking (tasting allowed) and can pay more for bigger bags.

I found International Spices & Groceries using a Google search, and after visiting the market yesterday, I was so surprised that no one had reviewed the place on Yelp as of yet. Well, there's a first time for everything... The first thing I noticed about the store is how sparkling clean the floors were. Along with the bright lighting and well-organized shelves stacked with the whole gamut of traditional spices, jams, pita bread, cookies, and teas (to name only a few of the items they had), this place exceeded my expectations. Many international grocers have no desire to spruce up their stores because they know the focused customer base will continue to shop there, especially if there is no nearby competition. However, this place does an excellent job of appealing to the general public, with its ample selection of meats, cheeses, frozen and dried goods. If you plan on visiting the store on Fridays, remember that its closed around noon. I forgot what time exactly, but it is listed on the front door. I parked on the street at a metered spot right in front of the store and did not notice a nearby lot for shoppers.
