have been a GEICO customer as.premium.customer for approximately nine years, but my recent…read moreexperience with GEICO has been extremely disturbing and disappointing. My main concern is the way my claim was handled by supervisor Sergio Silva and his employee/adjuster John After I raised concerns about the handling of my claim, I noticed that my GEICO portal access was changed and significantly limited. The options and communication channels that previously allowed me to contact or reach GEICO management were removed. I was left with communication primarily through the adjuster, making it extremely difficult for me to report my concerns to anyone above the people handling my claim. Even more seriously, documents and communications that had been submitted to my claim by the GEICO partner repair facility and/or associated employees subsequently disappeared from my portal. These documents were important because they showed the timeline and information surrounding my claim. I am extremely concerned that Sergio Silva, as the supervisor, changed my access to the portal and removed my ability to communicate with management while documents and communications relevant to the claim were no longer visible to me. I have retained copies of the documents and information that were previously submitted, so I can document what was available before it disappeared from my portal. I also have serious concerns about the handling of the claim by Sergio Silva and John, including delays, the treatment of evidence, the repair information submitted by the GEICO partner facility, and the subsequent denial of my claim. I am not asking GEICO to simply take my word for it. I am asking GEICO corporate management to conduct an independent audit of the electronic claim file, portal activity, document history, communications, and access changes. The electronic records should show when documents were uploaded, when they became unavailable, who had access to the claim, and what changes were made to my portal. What is especially troubling is that I was trying to reach management to report my concerns about the handling of my claim, but the management communication channels were no longer available to me. I believe a supervisor should use his position to ensure transparency and proper handling of a customer's claim not prevent the customer from reaching management when the customer is raising serious concerns about the claim process. After nearly nine years with GEICO, I expected a fair, transparent, and good-faith claims process. Instead, I feel that my ability to advocate for myself was restricted while important claim information became inaccessible through my portal. am publicly asking GEICO management to contact me directly, review the complete electronic history of my claim, investigate the actions of Sergio Silva and John, and explain why my portal access and claim information were changed.and.limited.me.to.reach any customer service or.management .so that is why please help as I was limited from reaching anyone except the adjuster and that was Sergio when he spoke to.me.was very rude and was very bad representative for GEICO. I have preserved copies of the documents and communications that were previously available and can provide them to an appropriate management representative. I am asking for accountability, transparency, and an independent management reviews not another response from the same people or reporting to.sergio.who.did the whole malpractice.please far from who were involved in the mishabdling handling of my claim

I had a consultation with Jennifer this week and in 30 minutes, I literally understood more about my finances than in my entire life. She was so knowledgeable and yet down to earth and easy to understand. I hung up so motivated and empowered and already made significant and impactful changes! I cant recommend Modern Family Finance enough.

Writing a review for my financial planner was not on my Bingo card for my life. But when Jenni,…read moreLisa, and Cathy at Modern Family Finance are as fantastic as they are, it has to be done. To set the scene: I don't know anything about money, or the market, or really budgeting, if we're being honest. My working class family didn't know anything to teach me, and I was resistant to learning because I was sure it would mean discomfort at best and shame at worst. Luckily, opposites attract, and my spouse is a Responsible Adult who wanted to manage some inheritance in addition to our weirdly/ unnecessarily complicated financial situation. Enter: Modern Family Finance, referred to us by a friend. In my mind, they are fantastic for three main reasons. 1.) Based on what I just described, you will not be surprised to learn that I truly have no clue as to the wizardry they do with investing, but I love this. As far as I'm concerned, my accounts are like little Tamagotchis that I get to occasionally login to check and see how they're thriving. Our money is doing great, our finances are tidy, and our goals are being met! My Responsible Adult spouse DOES want to know, and Modern Family is an open book and wants to teach. Everyone wins! 2) The whole process of working together centers around YOUR particular and specific needs, goals, and personal priorities. They keep in mind both short term needs and long term visions to help you get and stay on track. I really appreciated the emotional intelligence and care Jenni brings, especially to our early meetings, and I still think about the questions she asked to help us understand our own relationships to money, and what needs to heal to move forward. They truly work with you where you are. Their approach is clearly not just about managing money, but building quality of life and empowerment. 3) They are truly the kindest people you could hope to work with. Getting me to respond to an email about life insurance or the 401K from ten years ago is like trying to put a cat in a bathtub, but somehow, miraculously, they don't judge. The team is thoroughly patient, kind, ridiculously detail oriented, and in general the most delightful people you'd hope to meet. As a queer couple navigating major life transitions, they give us clarity, patience, and structure without overwhelm. We'll be clients for life.
