Second floor bathroom caused damage to our main floor area late June 2025. I reached out to my…read moreinsurance company and they had Drymedic reach out. The mitigation team did a great job removing damaged floors and walls and started the drying out process. About 2 weeks later after requesting things to get moving a estimate was performed and a few days after that the reconstruction program manager came by for about a hour answered some of our questions and said he would have the flooring and painting team reach out to me in the day or so. I sent information on some items that were on sale we would like have ordered to be installed in our master bath and to get them purchased. Those items were drop shipped a few weeks later. After numerous text and calls over a 3 week period no one else reached out to me. I shared my disappointment and reached out for the Director of construction to reach out to me with no return calls or emails. I even reached to others with the company to relay the message with no response after doing that. So I terminated Drymedic and had another contractor get started. Of course once I terminated their service, I was reached out to by Drymedic. I asked for the invoice for the vanity and faucets I had preordered so I could provide that to my insurance company for payment. Nothing was provided and I was told I would be billed. During reconstruction I also used the Drymedic pack out team for all of my contents. All of our belongings were packed and stored at their warehouse during the remodel of our home. At this point I was still willing to use their other services. Construction was completed about a month later by new contractors and all of my furnishings were brought back and unpacked by the Drymedic moving team. Insurance paid all of the fees for the Mitigation, Pack out, Storage return of my items. Contruction fees for the new contractors I had to hire. Forward to almost 4 months later I was just issued a final bill from DRYmedic for the vanity and faucets along with a bill based on 10% of written estimate charge of the whole construction job they previously quoted. I was told if I did not pay the bill it would be turned over to collections.

Drymedic contacted me because my agent gave them my phone number. I needed them for the rebuild. They sent a man out and he seemed real helpful. He took all the information and pictures and said they would contact me once everything was reviewed. I waited a week and then tried to find out what was going on. I sent emails, text, and voice mail messages. I received no call back, email or text. So, I waited till the next Monday and ended up calling another company. I can't tell you what kind of work they do. All they had to do is send me a text, saying they couldn't do the work. It's unacceptable to leave someone hanging.

However, weDry Restoration were much more attentive, better priced, did a much better job, and were friendlier. They were very understanding to the needs elderly parents's flooded basement the area recently had. My parents are in their 80's, and, could not have been more happier with weDry Restorations, and neither could I.

The other company came out, seemed knowledgeable, looked around the house a little (didn't go into the attic or do a deep inspection) and did an air mold test. The test showed high levels of Pen/Asp mold group in the master bedroom but the other company was unable to come back for almost two weeks and could not provide an exact quote until they came back. Due to my autoimmune issues and the symptoms I was having, we did not want to wait that long. That is when we contacted weDry. I was very overwhelmed due to the situation and first spoke with Amy, who was very kind and understanding. Even though she was professional, she made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a friend instead of just a business. She was able to have someone out right away to do an inspection. When Mike came out to do the inspection, not only was he also kind and professional, he was extremely thorough. Pulling back the carpeting and padding in the closet, going up into the attic to look around, and even looking through all of the basement insulation. I was very impressed with the time and effort he put in to finding the source of the mold smell. WeDry was able to get a detailed quote back same day that showed a breakdown of every single expense so you know exactly where your money is going. I was also impressed by how quickly I would receive email responses from Amy or that she would touch base to see how I was doing. The cause of the mold ended up being due to an outside issue and our HOA stepped in to handle the repairs, using their own company. However, if Amy and Mikes work ethic are a reflection of weDry Restoration and the rest of their team and services, then I would say they are an outstanding company and believe that other companies should take a page from their book.

From the initial consultation to the final nail driven, every aspect of the project was executed with professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. First and foremost, the communication throughout the process was exemplary. From the moment we reached out for a quote, Jacob promptly responded and scheduled a convenient time for an on-site assessment. During this consultation, Jacob took the time to thoroughly inspect our roof, discuss our needs and concerns, and provide transparent recommendations tailored to our preferences. Steven and Jacob's knowledge and expertise were immediately apparent, putting our minds at ease knowing our home was in capable hands. Once the project commenced, the efficiency and precision with which the team worked were truly impressive. They arrived promptly, equipped with all the necessary materials and tools, and wasted no time getting to work. Their attention to detail was evident in every step of the process, from the meticulous removal of the old roofing materials to the precise installation of the new decking and shingles along with the extra work put into fixing the collapsed supports on a section of the roof. I was particularly impressed by their commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring minimal disruption to our household. Moreover, the quality of the workmanship speaks for itself. The finished product not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of our home but also provides the peace of mind knowing that our roof is now built to withstand the elements for years to come. I put all my trust in them and ended up on the very bad side of a job agreement. The "Integrity Guys?" To me, integrity brings to mind honesty, trustworthiness, honor, high standards, strong moral principals, decency, and the like. NONE of these words come to my mind after hiring Gary's MI Remodelers. My bathroom remodel, accepted in March 2025, was left as a gutted, bare to the rafters shambles in September 2025, when we finally fired them. First, they would not start the bathroom remodel until a new roof was put on my home for better ventilation. I agreed to this, but the shingles installed at the end of April were not the ones I ordered. This was the FIRST red flag. On June 24th, my only full bathroom was demolished. Weeks would pass and no one showed up to work. We showered at the gym or at relatives' houses for months. This was ANOTHER big issue. The only work attempted was partial electrical (which the sub contractor stopped due to lack of payment from MI Remodelers), some faulty plumbing which had to be redone according to code, and mold remediation. The drywall was mostly installed without glue, ceiling drywall was pieced haphazardly with big gaps around the ceiling light/fan, and the toilet flange was set too deep and only held by one bolt... a likely future fail. By almost mid September they agreed the drywall job was unacceptable and removed it all. We were now back to bare rafters with no promise of workers lined up to fix this huge, stressful ADDITIONAL problem. We had no choice then but to fire Gary and MI Remodelers. I was rescued by relatives and friends who knew their profession. Thinking about my VERY significant loss of money and the amount I was still being charged was so dishonest. Very little, subpar, and incomplete work was accomplished, but they were still collecting my checks and demanding more with no work done. At first, after the large upfront payment, Gary said the checks were for completed work (not true). Then, Gary said he had workers waiting and the money was required first. When we said we would need to actually see some work done first, Gary told me he would pull the work permits and put a lien on my house! When I first hired them, I had followed EVERY requirement and ALWAYS paid when they asked. They did NOT do the promised work and then threatened me. What I don't understand is WHY they treated me like they did. I was kind and welcoming. I had plans for them to remodel my kitchen next. It made no sense to treat me so poorly and take so many thousands of dollars from me, not doing their part of the deal. It was so very dishonest and really disheartening. I really trusted them. It was hard to accept such unethical treatment. Gary and company, thinking about your unfair actions towards me, I could not have been more disappointed by your unprofessional behavior. Prospective clients of Gary and MI Remodelers, save yourself their non-performance, problems, dishonesty, and loss of much money. I wish someone had warned me. P.S. Thanks to my family and friends, I now have an even more beautiful bathroom than Gary and MI Remodelers had planned. Dorothy G
