Bought my house a little over 6 months ago and the guest bath has always had a slightly slow drain…read more Same goes for the sinks in our main bath and guest bath (share a wall so likely all go to the same place plumbing wise). Recently did a deep clean for company that was staying and in doing so removed the drain trap from our master shower and cleaned all the hair out. Well I think in doing so a large chunk of hair must have dislodged and gone further down in our pipe. The first shower we took not only did our master shower start to fill with water, the guest bath filled up as well. Tried drano and those at home snakes, but nothing from our do it yourself end was working. I sent an email out through yelp to have a few plumbers bid on the job. I even had one well known plumbing company come out and do a free bid. Their free in person bid to simply clear out the bath drains was $425 and then another $425 if we wanted them to look into the sinks. are you kidding?!? Just to get out some extra hair? Another big through messaging was$300. Brock from Eagle Eye Construction responded within in the hour and said it likely wouldn't cost more than $120 and he would be happy to come take a look. About 20 minutes after he showed up, all drains were working (even the sinks!!) He was professional, clean, straight forward and has our drains working better than before we move in. I highly recommend him for any project and will definitely be keeping him for future needs.

He came out to bid the project the day after I reached out to him, and he sent a bid for the service very promptly. I thought the bid was extremely competitive given the nature of the project. After meeting with Jason, I was very impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. I knew I wanted him to do the project the moment we met. Given his own personal knowledge of chickens and farm animals, I gave him my Pinterest ideas and let him run with it. I was nothing short of impressed with how amazing it turned out! We will have him back soon for all the projects that come with buying a new home! I highly recommend Scott Building Group to anyone looking for a reliable contractor.

I hired Jason Scott last month to do some projects around a property I recently purchased…read more After some back and forth we agreed upon a price of $5,250 for all of the work and I gave him a $3,000 deposit. In the contract, it said that it would take around 2.5 weeks, and in the notes of the check I wrote that the balance payment was to be $2,250. After six days of work, he abandoned the project with zero warning. He sent me a text stating that he spoke with other contractors on the job they told him about workers quitting (which isn't true) so he felt "uncomfortable" continuing to work for me. None of this makes any sense and accusations of workers quitting are completely untrue. When I hired him I told him that communication is of the utmost importance to me and that if there were any questions or doubts he should call me. If he had any issues, he did not voice them to me and it seems to me like he was offered a better-paying job so he jumped ship and left me high and dry. If you are looking for a competent, ethical, and honorable contractor, keep looking because Jason Scott is not your guy.
