From the moment we walked up to the register, she never greeted us, smiled, or made eye contact. We had neatly stacked our groceries inside the basket to make checkout easier, but instead of politely asking us to take everything out, she abruptly told us to remove it all. We had no problem doing so--it was simply the way she spoke to us. My husband even made a lighthearted comment that we thought leaving everything neatly in the basket would make checkout easier, but instead of responding politely, she rolled her eyes and mumbled under her breath. Throughout the entire transaction, she acted as though we were an inconvenience. She continued mumbling, handled our groceries carelessly, and when she finished scanning everything, she didn't tell us our total or even acknowledge us. She just stood there silently, staring at the register without looking at us or saying a word, leaving us wondering what she expected us to do. My husband finally asked, "Is that the total?" Instead of simply answering, she mumbled again, rolled her eyes with a nasty attitude, and immediately turned her attention to the next customer as if she was done with us--even though we hadn't even paid yet. After we completed the transaction, my husband still thanked her as we were leaving, but she didn't acknowledge him at all. She simply rolled her eyes again. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but there is no excuse for treating customers with this level of disrespect. We weren't asking for anything special--just basic courtesy. A simple greeting, polite communication, and a little professionalism go a long way. Unfortunately, this was one of the rudest customer service experiences we've had, and I sincerely hope management addresses it so no one else has to be treated this way.

So, needless to say the shock I felt at the Kingman Walmart was astounding! The employees smile! They act happy there! They actually HELP the customers!! We met a gal who was shopping on her DAY OFF. She saw we looking in the water, and she stopped to help us. I asked if she worked here- and she did. Her name is Iris, and she is AWESOME!! Though we didn't find what we were looking for, she left no stone unturned! Absolutely amazing customer service skills- and Walmart should know what a great job she's doing. We also came across cashier Janet, and whom I think is her supervisor- Susan. Both ladies were so wonderful! There was also a lady in cosmetics that walked me over to some products- the CS at this store is nuts!! Whatever is happening here in Kingman- please spread it East, North, West and South!!! We need more Walmart's like this one!! Kudos to Kingman!!!!! Thank you!! We're so glad we moved here!

This last visit today is just one example of how it's been since we moved here last July 2024. I asked a blue vest Walmart employee in the garden center a question. Her response was in a very, very rude tone, "I fill orders I don't work back here!" I checked out in the self checkout lane. Was going to ask the employee there a question, but she was texting on her phone. I purchased a flower from the garden area. So of course I didn't have a bag. When I was leaving the "Unwelcome" person yells, "I need your receipt, I need your receipt!!!" I wasn't even to her yet and she was throwing a fit. I showed her my receipt and told her, "Just so you know you and your fellow employees are very rude!" We try not to shop at Walmart, when we do I usually go to the one that is further away with nicer employees. What a joke.

She was friendly, welcoming, and truly made our visit memorable. The market has an amazing selection of hot foods and desserts, and everything we tried was delicious. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food and customer experience. My only tip is to go early because the popular items go fast! Definitely a must-visit while you're in Sedona.

Well we did not trust that option and it did not seem anyone did because every cart was there and all shoppers were taking the regular small carts. Upon entering the store seemed very clean and smelled like BBQ food right away. Just like all standard food chains they have their deli with cooked foods, cheeses, meats, cold cuts, sandwiches already made as well. They had a good size produce department , still selling all lettuce that has been on the news with its issues . No signs about purchasing the ready made bags of lettuce just like nothing is going on. They had an entire department for Wines and liquor that was very nicely laid out as well. Prices here are much higher. After finding everything we needed we went to the cashier open. I asked her, are many people using those shopping carts that ring up all the groceries? She replied? No, our manager here is a tech nerd and does not understand our demographic, she then went on to explain that she wished they would work because she hates her job because she's not a people person and does not like to talk to people and she would be more than happy to loose her job. I definitely wanted a beanie to help with the wind chill, and so did my daughters. Visited this store while my daughters stayed in line at Starbucks. Was able to find a beanie for each of us. There were a lot of cute items available for purchase, including some Snoopy items! Loved the self-checkout option as well. Prices are a little bit higher than you might expect. Super convenient though, if you ever find yourself in a pinch for something in this area.

The male cashier looked me up and down as I approached the register. I politely told him I didn't need a bag, and instead of responding professionally, he tossed my shirt onto the counter with an obvious attitude and walked away without saying a word. I say thank you after and did it 2x just checking if he responded not just turn back on me. The entire interaction made me feel unwelcome and singled out. I can't say for certain what his intentions were, but the way I was treated left me feeling that my race may have played a role. Whether intentional or not, his behavior came across as rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should make everyone feel welcome and respected. I hope management addresses this so other customers don't have a similar experience.
