Has anyone heard of Paris, California? Pardon me to those folks who may live.there.Paris-Loraine is an unincorporated part of Kern County (I had to look that one up). If there really is a god, then Joel Selik is a true gift from the gods. My wife was rear-ended by a drunk driver in 2010 with life long issues of constant pain. We retained a lawyer who came recommended to represent us in this million dollar case who was a liar and a Charlitan. He told us the case was on-going for years when the case was closed due to default by him. After 2 years dealing with the Nevada bar trying to get him disbarred, they finally sided with us, but we needed some expertise to go after him, his insurance or assets. Thankfully Joel was our guy! Honest as Abe Lincoln, he decided with all our paperwork on this guy and dealing with the Nevada bar, there was definitely merit to the case. Joel filed suit and the process started. His lawyers were trying to get out of it on a technicality, but well versed with Nevada law, the statue of limitations were even extended due to the previous lawyer trying to pull off a cover-up. As they were hoping we would go away, Mr. Selik was relentless and always on them to produce documents and make meetings. Mr. Selik knows the law, is precise and accurate as a Swiss watch and detailed with his hours and billing. He was more than fair and we couldn't ask for anything more. When I asked if he could email me his proposal for the money he asked he said he's not into playing games!!!
