Stopped in for lunch at the Selsey Arms with my folks after spending the beautiful Spring morning at West Dean Gardens a couple of minutes away. Trade was just starting to pickup - figure it is a good stopping point on the Centurion trail.
Staff were really friendly, grabbed a round of drinks and menus. Plenty happening, with something for everybody - specials board for the weekend, larger and smaller meals. Fish, meat and veggie options. Snacks/appetisers, full meals, sandwiches, burgers, kids menu.
We ordered some sandwiches. Food arrived promptly. The sandwiches were generously-filled with quality ingredients. I had a bacon and brie, really nice bacon, good thick slices of cheese, on tasty local bread. A little 'slaw and a lightly-dressed side-salad too. Absolutely delicious, and great value. Washed down with a little Pale Ale - it was perfect end to the trip.
By the time we left the bar was almost full with both locals and visitors. 10/10 would go again. read more
