We were pointed here by a tour guide as the best place to pick up pastries or a hot chocolate …read more.. which under-served the location, because we were looking for something a bit more substantial.
Beyond the front display cases and servings of chocolates and sandwiches and pastries, in back (as well as up a flight) there's a large seating area where you can do a sit-down meal.
The menu is multi-lingual and massive, and focused mostly on Swiss/German sorts of dishes. The food itself was decently good -- not life-changing, but filling. The hot chocolate and coffee drinks were, in fact, great, if pricey.
(It's San Moritz, even in low season -- it's going to be pricey.)
Service was harried but polite. Views from the window over the lake and to the mountains were nice.
I wouldn't go out of my way to return here, but I wouldn't turn down the suggestion to go in again, should I ever again visit San Moritz.
