Excellent Chiropractor and Acupuncturist. Staff is always friendly and accommodating and the office is very clean. They have you change into a gown and slippers, providing you with your own locker and 2 changing areas. The doctor is very thorough in evaluating and helping you understand what causes your issues and how to prevent them. Dr Baek is the best! For nearly a year I had been bedridden, lost all muscle, working from my bed due to digestive issues causing me to vomit / gag regularly. My very first visit was a game changer and what really blew me away was that he did not know that I was having digestive issues with my gallbladder and issues with my liver. In our consult he again without knowing said "you are having issues with your gallbladder and liver" and treated a specific area to bring me relief. I was stunned. After my very first treatment I was gag free and did not throw up for days. It actually brought me to tears - happy tears when I told him how much he had impacted me physically in just one visit. While also working with my general doctor (had to have Gallbladder removed) Dr. Baek brought me continued relief until I could get through my surgery. Personable, friendly, professional, and spotlessly clean! I was recommended by a church leader to checkout Semihan Chiropractic due to chronic pain that has been really deteriorating my overall health and quality of life over the years, especially after giving birth to my child. Major concern/pain on my spine, neck, shoulder, and ankle. I was having trouble getting a good night sleep due to pain in the above mentioned areas, trouble standing or doing daily activities doing household chores and taking care of my child due to throbbing ankle pain and just overall fatigue due to inflammation. It's been 2 weeks since my initial treatment and I received my 6th treatment yesterday. All I can say is I feel great! I sleep better (wake up less) because pain level has gone down noticeably, especially back and ankle, and I have more energy throughout the day with my toddler because I am well rested/recharged at night and have less pain! Dr Baek is one of the most detail oriented chiropractors that I've ever been to... and I've been to my fair share of them. You have to call in to make appointments they have hours spread out enough throughout the weekdays and even on Saturday to drop on by. They have changing rooms and lockers to place your things in so no real need to worry about your things. They have a separate room for consults, traction treatments, and acupuncture. The staff has always been very friendly and responsive in person and over the phone. Fibromyalgia patient Dr Baek gives me a lot of relief with my fibromyalgia pain. The first day he took X-ray of my spinal cord and ask questions about my pain locations. I told him over 50 locations all over my body. From head to toe, from my brain to my bare feet, from my internal parts to the outside of my whole body. Dr Baek recommended that I come 6 days straight for treatment. He said he will try his best but cannot promise me but I feel confident that I will find some relief from him. I came from Alabama for treatment so I decided to schedule 13 days of treatment. I noticed a lot of relief after 7 days. 7 days through 13 days better and better. Dr adjusted my spinal cord by looking at the X-ray and by using his instrument meter. Semihan Chiro is tremendous. They have excellent service, from Susan to Dr. Baek. I had been to 4 chiros before Semihan, and while they were adequate, they never quite helped with my back pain. Unlike the other chiros, Dr. Baek did not treat my back and neck issues like a band-aid issue, where the chiro does a couple of adjustments and then tells you you're cured. Rather, Dr. Baek took X-rays and got to the deeper source of the problem, adjusting to meet my individual needs, where as the other chiros did a generic neck/back adjustment and sent me out the door. I've been coming to Semihan Chiropractic Clinic for neck and back pain for several years now. Dr. Baek and the staff that work here are awesome! There are often wait times because patients want and come for the best, but they offer things like patients' testimonies on TV, teabags, magazines, and foot massages to pass the time. Dr. Baek is very detailed and treats patients as if they're his own family members. Staff, too, are very friendly. One can clearly see that they actually care about patients and enjoy working there. There are various thoughtful accommodations like hangers, slippers, daily washed and niclely folded gowns, locker room with locks, and for last but not least affordable treatment package options for patients without insurance like me.
