I have only been to the office once but Dr. Jerimy Cox has been volunteering to come adjust the athletes at the school where I am the athletic trainer and in return we have given him referrals. I have seen a few chiropractors over the years and before being adjusted my Dr. Cox I was getting adjust by our sports medicine doc who also does adjustments. Now that Dr. Cox has started to work on my back and neck I have a lot less pain and headaches, and will not let anyone else adjust me. There are many things I love about Dr. Cox but one of the biggest is that he is gentle in his adjustments and let's you know what he's going to be doing, I have been to other chiropractors who I felt like just pile drove me and then said "don't worry about the soreness or residual pain that's supposed to happen," but Dr Cox isn't like that. I can't say enough good things about him, I look forward to working with him for many years. Update: I have been going to Village Chiropractic Center for over a year and a half now and have been adjusted by all of the doctors there. They are all wonderful. Dr. Cox is still my highest recommendation of any chiropractor I have ever seen. I have considerably less pain now than I had when I first began seeing him. I am able to get adjusted and get therapy about once a month without being in pain, unless I do something I shouldn't that aggravates my back. read more

My family has been using Village Chiropractic off and on for years. It appears that they were bought out by VRX Medical. Today, my wife received a sketchy call from some third-party company (Transworld Systems Inc) claiming to be calling on behalf of VRX Medical and asking her to reveal Personal Identifying Information. After a little research, it seems that there are tons of complaints about this company on the Better Business Bureau web site. Neither Village Chiropractic or VRX Medical has contacted us about any balance owed. What a horrible way to do business and Village Chiropractic can be sure of one thing: we will never, ever use their services again! Turns out we owed them a co-pay that they failed to collect at the last visit. They had the wrong address recorded for her account--even though they had to make a copy of her drivers license and insurance card. They never called, they claim to have sent 2 invoices to the wrong address, and turned us into collections over $50 because of their failure to properly communicate. What a joke this place is! Great place for chiropractic and massage. I met my deductible early last year so I was able to go consistently for massage and a couple times chiropractor. They can't do both at the same day for insurance purposes so I took more advantage of the medical massage. Every therapist was professional and really had very gifted hands as far as working on your problem areas. I was seeing Calvin for a great deal of it, then Lauren both were excellent. I stuck with Doug until now though because he has really experienced hands and has no mercy on some problem areas I needed worked out. He has some odd tendencies but very benign... he's the guy to go to if you need healing for sure! read more

I stumbled onto this place, to see it is a smooth operation for healing -- Chiropractic, Stretching, Electro-Stimulation on a persistent foot injury. All of it was awfully damn good. You would think a chiropractic place would care about people. I hope they care more for their patients then employees. My daughter was hired, then ended up in the hospital and put on bed rest for ONE WEEK to preserve the life of her and her unborn child. THIS OFFICE FIRED HERE within days of her telling them she was on bed rest. She needed ONE WEEK. Care and concern only extends to people they care take money from it appears. read more

The Village Chiropractic is a "Mill," they put you through every thing possible in order to create an insurance billing code; exam, muscle manipulation, therapy, x-rays, and whatever else. The way they do that is by telling you it's a "required procedure", it's "policy," or they'll just refuse you the adjustment service. Check it out, go to an appointment to have your back adjusted, end up in their "physical therapy wing," and check your insurance statement after you've been seen. read more

Very happy I made the choice to come here for chiropractic care! The women at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. I've been seeing Shane for the treatment. He's thorough in addressing your concerns and giving advice on maintenance between visits. During the adjustment, it doesn't feel rushed and once you're done he has you walk around to see how everything feels. Afterwards, you get 12 minutes on a massage water table or anti gravity massage chair (heaven) and depending, a cool laser treatment and kinetic tape. Definitely opt for the kinetic tape! Love this place! So far, I've only seen Dr. Tim and he has made such a difference in my pain and range of mobility of my neck and back. I've also worked with their in-house physical therapy team to learn stretches and also work on stretching during appts. I had probably the best massage in my life with Erin today, along with cupping. One of the things I also appreciate about this place is that I wasn't given an insanely aggressive treatment plan- there was an initial three weeks with 2x/week to sort out my issue (I was in a lot of pain), and then, as needed. So, they are not the kind of place that will try to take advantage of your insurance, etc. Two friends and my sister are now also patients of Village Chiropractic. Highly recommend!! read more

Saw Dr. Lance for a few adjustments and can't remember the other doc's name, but each time I saw either one of them I felt rushed and like they had better things to do than hear what was going on. It was a disappointing experience. I will say that the front desk ladies were easy to work with. May be a great place for some clients, but not for me. read more

Now for the chiropractic portion of my experience here: I had average adjustments (not great, not horrible) both times I have been seen by Dr. Lance, although I will say that I feel very rushed to get out the door after the 5 minutes he spends with me and he has been late for me at both appointments. I always show up at least 5 min early to my appointments, so this is particularly annoying to me. The cherry on top of this entire disappointing experience was that when I last came in for an adjustment I really wanted to give the Dr. my feedback about my massage so that he might be able to present the constructive criticism to his CMT's as a learning experience, in hopes that this won't happen to anyone else in the future. After saying to him, "you know, my massage was really not very good," he interrupted me and asked who it was with. I told him her name and tried again to give him my feedback. I may have gotten another few words out of my mouth before I was interrupted again, told to try a different therapist, and that I may have to try a few to find one that I like. This is not a solution and I am not made of money. I was quickly ushered out the door of his office and paid for my service and even rescheduled to see him again after being reminded by him that I should probably come back more often. Typical... Also worth noting is the front desk's total lack of customer service. Almost every single person I interacted with at the front desk in my three visits was complacent and jaded when handling payments and scheduling requests, if not downright rude. I don't make a habit of posting one-star reviews. I would prefer to praise great businesses who treat their customers with respect and give them an experience worth coming back for. My entire experience with Village Chiropractic Center has been so terrible that I had to share it with prospective clients/patients. Hopefully the business owners will take note of everything that went wrong with me so that some changes will be made. I thought about it for a few days after my last adjustment, and once I had processed everything I decided to cancel my next appointment. I will never be back. read more

I gave them my insurance info and they wait till 4 pm on Friday to tell me that they need the card in hand to run and they wouldn't be able to do this until Monday. Our whole family goes to Dr. Shane at Village Chiro! My 11 yr old daughter, myself and husband. Dr. Shane has a very gentle touch with my daughter. We have also benefitted from the medical massages they provide upstairs. Amazing results with that as well! Many great massage therapists! It's an amalgam of stations built to exact insurance dollars. You go in to get adjusted and they want the X-ray money, the pain shots, epidurals, expensive back belts, $15 dollar pulse box from China that they charge insurance $780 for. You want to know why insurance is so expensive. Come here for a case study. They are nice people...but you don't get stars for that...you are supposed to be nice to your clients. Ethical...hmmm...in Dallas there seems to be a disconnect between business and religion. Ethics goes out the window when it comes to business. This place is a soft machine. I cannot recommend on what I saw. You basically get run through money stations. The reviewers are either employees or everyone that goes there is an ignoble Jethro...which I highly doubt. read more

I have been going here for almost a year now, since I moved to Texas, and I am very happy I found this place. I always see Dr. Lance and he is the best. I always leave feeling so much better and look forward to coming back. I also have to mention the massage chair that they put you in after or sometimes before your adjustment. I have been coming here for the last three plus years after my previous DC closed his location near us. All the Chiropractors are excellent, but I usually see Dr. Lance, who is attentive to where I tell him I'm having issues. He will also "try again" if after the adjustment I'm still feeling tight. The massage therapists are also very professional and have done a lot of good for both myself and my wife. It can be hard to get in for the massage, though, so booking in advance helps. read more
