Their communication, professionalism, and warmth were unmatched, and they truly went above and beyond every step of the way. We rented both the ceremony and reception space, and everything was simply stunning. The views, the vibe, the upgraded décor options--all created the most magical setting for our celebration. The food was absolutely delicious, the appetizers were a hit, and Jenna at the bar was fantastic. Every detail, from the rooms for getting ready to the service throughout the evening, was thoughtfully executed and seamless. Not only was it beautiful, organized, and completely stress-free, it was also affordable--something that still amazes me given the quality of the experience. They had good flavor, but I would have preferred them cooked a bit longer for a little more crispness and doneness. The salmon, however, was outstanding. It was perfectly cooked, moist, and flavorful, and paired beautifully with the sweet potato, which was equally delicious. It was easily the highlight of the meal. We also tried the tuna poke bowl. The tuna was fresh, but the dish could have benefited from a more generous portion and a bit more seasoning to make the flavors really stand out. What made the experience enjoyable overall was the laid-back poolside atmosphere. It's a great place to relax, enjoy a meal, and spend time with friends or family. While a few menu items could use some refinement, the excellent salmon and inviting setting will definitely bring us back.

It is warm, genuine and historic in a way that very few places in this part of Florida can lay claim to. I would never go for a ride in this area of Florida without making a stop at Herb's. Although Herb is no longer with us, his legacy, Herb's Limestone Country Club lives on and hopefully will for many years to come.

All three are gorgeous and well maintained. I was genuinely shocked to show up at 5:30pm and be able to get 15 holes in before dark. There was no one in front of me!!! I stopped by again the next day to play, around 5pm, and I was able to finish 18. This time, I ran into a kids lesson- so the instructor said to skip two holes ahead and come back and finish at the end. I also ran into a group of 2 but they hustled when they saw me coming. The twilight price is $57 and change, which to me, is nothing, but compared to courses nearby, I can see why people don't come here. They can play for $35 or even $26 at other courses. However, you get what you pay for. This course is really great. Lots of nature. Challenging. Water stations and clean bathrooms throughout. On the earlier night, the shop had a rack of sale items outside. I wanted to take a closer look but didn't- wanted to start playing. Maybe one day I'll go back and buy something. Ladies stuff looked nice. They have a chipping, putting, and driving range near the club. Carts are comfortable , no GPS. Courses are easy to navigate with signs on where to enter and exit the fairways. I like this idea- keeps the course nice. I found a lot of lost balls while playing, especially in the water. Homes line some of the holes and I got some applause while playing haha. I would recommend this course but then again, I don't want this secret getting out. I hope this place stays empty cuz I like playing fast!

Holes 12 through 17 are directly on Charlotte Harbor with some tee boxes and greens just steps from the water. Can be breezy at times & you will see Ospreys, iguanas and other wildlife. So manicured, I don't think I saw a weed or bare spot on any hole. Lunch available at a halfway house and at the small clubhouse. No tee times necessary, you just show up to play. Downside is you have to stay at The Inn to play. But you can get special golf packages such as a Stay & Play.
