Because it is right in the middle of a very large neighborhood a lot of people just walked to the dog park. But there are parking lots at either end. The dog park is just a big fenced-off Square except for the fact that they brought the fence line in and around the two big trees that should be inside the dog park. But on both sides they literally took the fence line in about 10-12 ft and then back out so that the tree was on the outside of the dog park? Because trees are scary to dogs like that? There is a very nice water feature and a poop bag dispenser and trash can. There's also a very nice light post right in the middle of a dog park as well as a couple benches for you to sit on. But other than that there's nothing but wide open space for your puppy to run and enjoy itself

This would be an awesome place to stop if you are traveling with dogs and kids. There is only one dog Park for both small and large dogs, very clean. The playground equipment appears new. Single basketball court, four tennis courts, football field, baseball field. There are bleachers, restrooms, and a concession stand at the baseball and football fields. Two parking lots, one by dog park, one by football & baseball field. FYI THIS PARK IS DIRECTLY NEXT TO MAGNOLIA CEMETERY, WHICH EXPLAINS WHY IT IS SO QUIET & SECLUDED. That is the only negative thing I can say about the park, the Cemetary, but other then that this park is fantastic.

Decent neighborhood park, I usually stop by to rest here when I walk my dog. My dog does not care…read moretoo much for this park, he likes Sage Herndon Park better. This park has a playground, a lot of Live Oak Trees for shade, a lit walking path with some metal benches & trashcans. It is pretty clean. There is a picnic pavilion with three tables, two chair swings, 2 BBQ pits, usually someone always over there. No restrooms here, large open grassy area for football or soccer but no nets or goalposts. The parking lot always has a few vehicles parked, everyone from City Workers, a big rig, construction workers on lunch breaks, whoever. The police cruise by often here, I myself never had any problems here, but I do see a lot of people on foot just hanging out here sometimes other then the families with kids from the nearby apartments down Emogene Street. It's an ok park, but I have never spent more then 30 minutes to an hour here tops.

TWO SETS OF RESTROOMS, BUT REMAIN LOCKED UNLESS IT IS GAME DAY. Concession Stand. Batting cages. Three separate, medium sized parking lots. NO PARKING ON DANDALE DRIVE BEHIND PARK, HAS NO PARKING TOW AWAY SIGNS POSTED. Football Field remains locked, grass is meticulous and well manicured. Very clean sports park, plenty of waste receptacles placed accordingly. Several batting cages. Lights for evening games accessible. Handicap accessible ramps near parking lots near stairs. Grishelde Drive dead ends at park into wooded area, saw a trucker parked peacefully nearby taking a nap. I came on a weekday during school hours, park was empty, I imagine it is pretty busy after school, on weekends, and during tournaments. Park is totally encircled by the woods, I saw a trail, but I did not venture down it. Park appeared very safe, deep within West Mobile Suburban Neighborhood, I got lost trying to get out of neighborhood, if you go north on Long Leaf Drive, you will come out at Cottage Hill, stores and eateries probably at least half mile to one mile from Park. Greer's Supermarket nearby on Cottage Hill, so is Big Time Diner, there are also Wendy's McDonald's, and Popeye's or Zaxby's Chicken on Cottage Hill as well.

And maybe that's because you are. Do they have a wet pad for little kids and they have a playground for little kids and they have a skate park and one hole corner is a dog park!! A true Community Center! The dog park even has some Condos for some local birds. There are nice double-gated concrete entry areas to both the big and small Park as well as nice water fountains that you can step on with your foot. A few benches to sit on around the dog park but other than that nothing but a few old growth trees and room to run! It is Well fenced and you can park very close

Renovations to the park are now complete with improvements in the skate park, new public restrooms,…read morelighting, benches, walkways. Dog Park is always empty.
