He is all about taking care of his patients, NOT taking you for a ride to get rich off of you. My mouth is so healthy and feels good since seeing him and his staff to care for my teeth. I'll be the first to admit that my teeth are not the greatest, but to tell me that because I have a chip in my front tooth from falling as a child; And that my bottom teeth aren't straight so that makes them horrible, that's just a bit extreme. Then to top it off, when I went in for the first visit, I was told it was X-rays and a cleaning, to go in and then be told that "I don't have time to clean your teeth, they need a special cleaning because they are so bad, you'll have to come in a different day" I made an apt for a cleaning, shouldn't you make ample time for each patient. Last but not least, they charged me for an office visit, an exam with the dr(whom I didn't even actually ever meet) and a CLEANING they didn't even do! I called my insurance company and they fixed it but had I not been told by the new dentist that they happened to see an authorization for it, I would never have known and wouldn't have questioned it.

First off, all of their locations are privately owned and 'Aspen Dental Management" provides staffing. This one is owned by Dr. Vikramjit Anand and judging by publicly available data I can see why he wouldn't want his name on the door. I had a root canal performed by the sloppiest, rudest, and roughest orthodontist I can imagine, he works there part time so he just has pelican cases full of supplies and instruments in the hallway. I do't know his name because he didn't have the decency to even introduce himself before he dove at me with a needle full of novocaine. After the root canal they stuffed some cheap putty into my hollowed out tooth and sent me on my way without a temporary crown or anything to protect the tooth. I was just told to be careful eating. It then took two months for me to receive my crown which was installed by a technician and never even checked by a dentist, needless to say it doesn't fit correctly and has to be replaced. After all of this they decided not to honor their quoted pricing and are charging me several thousand dollars more than I initially agreed to. I have sent them multiple letters via certified mail as you cannot get a billing manager on the phone and corporate claims they cannot correct billing issues. Looks like the state AG office is going to receive a complaint instead. These people are the the lowest form of life, I thought politicians were bottom tier but I have been proven wrong.

I read positive reviews of Dr. Lalor and my fiend's children have gone to him. I called to make an initial appointment and told the office staff I did not want a rotating dentist every year and wanted Dr. Lalor. The staff told me no problem and gave me an appointment for mid July. Yesterday, they called and said he wasn't going to be in that week and said they could get me in with him tomorrow. I accepted the appointment. The staff who came out to get me and take x-rays was not welcoming or personable at all. They didn't tell me their name and just gave direction on where to go for the c-rays and the room to sit. No welcome to Lalor Family Dental, or my name is..., no it's nice to meet you. After the x-Ray, a dental hygienist came in and introduced herself and said she was helping out dentist "name" today. I corrected her and said my scheduled appointment was with Dr. Lalor. She left and came back and said he doesn't really come to this office and isn't available. I told her that is not what the office staff told me when booking. I told her it wasn't her fault, but I was told I could select the dentist I wanted and was told the appointment would be with Dr. Lalor. I left and will not return. The way I was greeted by staff and not being truthful about being able to select the dentist I wanted to see was enough for me to go to a more professional dental clinic.

When we arrived we were taken into the back and again explained why we were there. Dr Josh examined my husband and informed us that we would need to go to their Vestal office for another consultation because they don't do that there. We were then charged $59 to be told they couldn't help us. Total waste of time and money. If they don't do orthodontia work there, they never should have made us an appointment. Let alone charged us to tell us they couldn't help us.

He typically dresses very casually in sweats, and I guess they had a stick up their butt because not only did they demean my daughter, but made a comment that we should go to a cheaper place in Rochester NY because they didn't think we could afford it. Excuse you? Two military vets, one who works at a college and pays for her family to have full dental insurance, and this is what you say? On top of that, the Dentist refused to look in her mouth, saying it would cost too much. Billed us out of network 160.00 and sent my kid on her way. What in the hell is going on with the Dental field? My uncle is a dentist in another state and would NEVER talk like this to a customer. Hell, I've worked in the Medical field and still work in the Med. Field and I couldn't image the stupidity of opening my mouth and spouting these words. Unfortunately for you, I can afford to pay whatever is needed, and I can tell you this. Your whole practice can go to hell. Painted Post Dental Office is a JOKE.
