It really would depend on the kind of day they are having. Place is like a maze at 1st but once you get oriented you can make your way around just fine. Lots of cool little nooks and rooms to make the place feel special. My personal favorite is the garden room. The staff are usually very personable, thoughtful and very friendly. The number of times I've been here it seems like my friends and family are well taken care of. I don't go daily so I cannot attest to the daily regiment of eating, moving and cleanliness. No desire to ever go back, it's just not a place that gives me 'good memories' of my friends but the facility takes care of the needs of others so there's that...

In less than 48 hours my mother was taken, by ambulance, to the ER for shortness of breath. I stopped by one week later to give them an update to find her room cleaned out & her belongings boxed up! We never rec'd written notice or a phone call re: "bed hold", which I am only now familiar with. Now the staff & administration are lying trying to cover their tracks because they did not adhere to the state standards and requirements. The food, when delivered to her room, was ice cold, inedible. The evening aide turned the a/c, in her room, to 62 both nights. That was the care she got overnight. I do not recommend Cypress to care for your loved ones.

There was a young guy who came in every night before leaving who washed if I needed anything before he left for home. I can not say that there wasn't a person who wasn't caring and nice. I can only speak of my experience there and I was so thankful that they got me strong enough to go home. Also the family must stay involved with your care. At any nursing facility it's a must. Thanks to all who was involved of my care. The food was okay. If they had something that I didn't care for they offered me something else. They are competent, compassionate and caring. Management opted to change vendors and the quality of medical supplies provided after the change was vastly inferior.
