She has her own routine. A very independent woman. But after a few days of visits she felt so comfortable with your staff that visited her. My family was happy and feels so lucky for having such an amazing staff. Everyone showed empathy and compassion. Special Mention to Lisa who was on top of everything every time I mention something new I observed. And Margot who was so so diligent in bringing supply that my Mom needs. Natalie gave me all info reaching out for services my Mom needed. I highly recommend this facility for the care of a love one. Can't thank you all enough. God Bless!

I used Total Care for two…read moreyears because initially they were one of the only agencies that also paid my caregiver's taxes, etc.. and seemed to be on the up and up. Evita Enriquez (the owner of the agency) provided me with a caregiver for the weekend when my main caregiver was sick or on vacation. She told me over and over I never had a choice and I should "take what I can get" "we send you someone or you have no one- take your pick" Then fast forward to her telling me each and every time that the caregiver "will not return to you unless you give them A LOT more money" when I finally had enough of her constant extortion attempts, I canceled Total Care and Evita told me that my main caregiver was not allowed to work for me privately even though she did previously before I switched over to them (I brought this caregiver to Total Care in the first place!) Evita claimed that I signed a made up contract that said she is not allowed to work for me privately for one year or she can SUE ME for upwards of $14,000!!! And now six months later she is still harassing me weekly not only for that but now her attorney sent me a letter saying that I owe them $2,000 because the agency advanced that money to my caregiver at the time and the caregiver did not pay her back. This is an absolutely fraudulent operation up and down. PLEASE heed my advice and go anywhere else if you're looking for a decent caregiving agency.

The office is responsive and the staff is efficient. A special acknowledgment is warranted for several individuals: Karen, who sees me daily without fail; Ani, a supervisor whose evaluations are both clinically sound and genuinely empathic; Jovi, the administrative nurse who holds everything together; and Gary, who oversees this remarkable team of caregivers. When we…read moresigned up with the company the woman who managed the case initially asked what type of services we needed. I said that my brother needs help with housekeeping and cooking. There are times when caregivers asked if I wanted to have them do all the dishes (my husband and I) to which I responded you don't have to don't worry about it, said you don't have to. Some graciously washed all the dishes. They did send a caregiver once. The first couple days she literally sat in the chair and did pretty much nothing. After the second day, I sat with her to talk about the expectations that were laid out in the caregiving plan with Visiting Angels. According to her and other caregivers after her, she was not given a caregiving plan that described the task of light housekeeping for my brother. She seemed upset by this and never came back. The case manager that set us up initially said to us that Visiting Angels was there to help everyone in the family and all their needs. No, I do not ask someone who's there for my brother to help me or my husband with housekeeping, but this is something that the case manager at the time told us would be available.. There are jobs that are just really hard and really low pay paid one of them being caregiving. I would hope that these caregivers would get at least what workers at McDonald's are getting in California $22 an hour however deserve to get at least $30 an hour. i'm pretty disappointed that the resolution made by the owner of the company was to respond to my yelp review with defensive response, in lieu of learning more about how to make this service better.

Instead they accept the bullying malignant narcissism of a family member who falsified documents thru my Dad's healthcare claiming he was sole caregiver after my father was diagnosed by those same medical professionals months prior. They have continued to ignore requests to stop interfering in our family matters and have acknowledged repeatedly that they are required to speak with all members of the family. But and I have had to remove my Dad in order to get them to follow my Dad's care plan. Not worth the time, grief or headache. The majority of staff is combative and they seem only interested in how they will get paid. The current night person has been caught lying repeatedly and won't stay out of the bedrooms...and she is alone with my Dad...
