The line both days was an hour wait but it is so worth it and the view in line makes it go by faster. The bread with the wonderful butter olive oil blend was incredible the butter olive oil was perfectly salted and very creamy the bread was fresh and had a wonderful taste. We ordered the meatballs for our starter the first time and it was incredible one of the best meatballs i've had. The truffle fettuccine alfredo was very delicious the pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce was so good you could drink it. The sedanini 3 tomato pasta had a very good flavor profile and tasted very fresh. The carbonara was also extremely good and had guanciale which added the most perfect saltiness. The tiramisu was also very good i enjoyed that the coffee used was not caffeinated so we were all able to sleep that night. The second time we went i had to step out to attend a meeting via zoom and took my food to go. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating and offered to pack up some of the delicious tomato cucumber salad my parents had left for me. The hospitality in this restaurant is next level everyone is extremely nice and welcoming.

Everything was prepared very well and plated nicely too. The wine list is extensive and fairly priced, a nice change from the US. The menu is digital only which i personally find annoying. It's difficult to browse through all the categories. The menu should be all on one page versus having to click through a bunch of different links and categories. Overall it was a nice meal if you're in the mood for Piemontese food.

They sell wine by the glass or bottle, and have a small selection of local artisan beers. Each glass of wine was ~€5 and beer was ~€6. I loved the Riesling and Chardonnay, recommended by the shop owner. It was so crispy and refreshing with the fresh breeze from the lake and Swiss Alps behind us. The local beer was tasty as well but served from a bottle. Overall, definitely worth a visit! Great place in the afternoon to get a drink and take in the views of Menaggio!
