3.5 Stars! I went to Senor Buddha last night with a group of Yelpers - I'd been looking to try this place out for a while was glad of the opportunity to go. It's a very small restaurant, which I guess gives it a very intimate feel. The bit where I was seated wasn't particularly comfortable but it was okay! As for the food, the dishes were small but delicious. I really enjoyed the Tuna and the Halloumi dish. Special mention goes to the goats cheese mousse with beetroot. That was super, the cheese was so creamy and light, and didn't have an icky coating that sometimes happens when you turn cheese into a mousse! The Beetroot had a slight taste of ginger to it - it really worked so well! I'm not a massive wine drinker, but the wine we had was nice. The food was of a great standard, but I did leave still feeling slightly hungry - I know tapas are for sharing but I think you would have to order quite a bit in order to feel full. I'd definitely come again to give it another go, perhaps just with my other half for a lovely date!

Aguadulce has an interesting tale of inspiration behind its approach to drink, that makes it ideal…read morefor a pub crawl. You see, the fantastically named King Alfonso the XIII of Spain once observed a waiter put a piece of palma ham over his wine glass to prevent a fly from landing in it. The king found the combination pleasant, and so his court members imitated him, and (apparently) the tapas + drink combo was born! To celebrate this, you get a small tapas and bread with every bottle of beer or glass of wine you buy here, meaning pub crawlers can quell your beer induced hunger while enjoying more alcohol... Well that's probably not the intention, but it certainly works well! Outside of the small bar and free tapas, Aguadulce is a well presented restaurant with up and downstairs seating, that seemed a little on the quite side when I was there... There aren't many Spanish restaurants around, so if you do fancy some traditional Spanish food then Aguadulce ought to hit the spot!

Holy le wow. This place is seriously, seriously, good…read more A range of both standard and unusual tapas. The unusual include a brace of octopods, pig's trotters, morcilla, and squids. Everything's flavoured up with lovely chorizo, and there is excellent leg of pig on the bone, cut in mouthwatering paper-thin slices. They pick up local food and do it with their own style as well -- we found fried mackerel from which you could taste the sea. The flavour of the barnyard or sea was there, just round the corner. These are the best tapas I've found in Britain. At reasonable prices. With friendly service. And convenient. To those in Brighton.

But the food wasn't that bad So wandering around the other day, we went by and thought why not...one other couple the whole time we were there, so no change, but the food was much better...the waitress was fun too; service very good We had the fish nuggets, baby ribs (very yummy), patatas bravas and the chorizo (also very good)...that was a good mix and sufficient for 2 A small glass of white and a couple of the rouge...£47 in total including tip One thing with the wine, they are changing their stock to just the house wines, so there is what there is, but it was perfectly acceptable

The staff were really jolly, the place had just opened and it had a real buzz about it. We have had a lot of tapas and this hit the upper middle ground for me, which is very very good. The atmosphere makes this place, I like to have a lot of space, and I do like have 'Happy Birthday' played to me Spanish guitar stylee. I also like to be surprised by a Creme Brûlée with a birthday candle in. The lighting is nice and low-lit, and at the end of it all the price was right (though I didn't foot the bill, thanks mate), I left feeling very happy and giggling from the sparkly stuff and Sangria. This place is also open till 2am on a Friday and Saturday, I love late night bar hopping and with snacks as good as these makes it a perfect midnight stop off.

Worth a visit and best for a party of two to share the small plates!…read more Big taste on small plate +'s: + Menu is evolving thus review limited to what was being served that day. Our choices of fish, vegetable and meat varied with success. For instance the John Dory fish with fennel and ragu with egg yolk over fettuccine was reluctantly shared. + Service is awesome. That meant the host greeted us and advised us of an opening that evening. Plates were cleared timely. Orders taken promptly. Dishes executed with precision. + Atmosphere is my speed. I like cozy. That meant 10 seats at the bar and perhaps another 10-15 on the floor. + Bar seating allows you to watch the chef and sous chef prepare the dishes. It's part of the culinary journey. Small taste on small plate -'s: - Not cheap. Each small plate ranged from 7-15. However we left full after sharing five small plates. - Some plates didn't come out as successfully as others. For example the beef rib was somewhat dry despite all the sauces. TIP: Reservations highly recommended. Seating is tight and best for parties of 1-2. Grab a seat at the bar if you want to watch preparations. TRIVIA: Michael Bremner's restaurant ranked #36 in 2014 and #24 in 2015 in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100 List.

The beef gaspacho was the cream of the crop in terms of meat, the miso cabbage blew my mind and the scallops were cooked to perfection. I loved the fact that I was sat at the pass and could see the chefs at work, the kitchen is really cleverly laid out and I enjoyed the fact the chefs introduced some of the dishes to us. All of the staff were lovely and attentive, great décor, great music and atmosphere - could not recommend it more!
