All services are FREE! Veteran owned, Sensible Recycling is the place to use for disposing of your old technology. They will even destroy hard drives at your place of business or they can bring them back to the shop. They will video the destruction and provide a certificate/receipt of that destruction. All services are FREE! How do they make money? They take everything apart and sell as scrap metal. Sometimes they'll even have equipment for sale that still has some life in it. I saw some iMacs ready to be purchased and the rep informed me they typically beat eBay pricing, you don't have to pay for shipping since you buy it from the shop, and you can touch it before buying it. I am super thrilled that this company is in business. I am even more thrilled that the company is veteran-owned and is doing great things for both its customers and doing what it can to protect the environment from needless electronics waste. I have been utilizing this company for about 1.5 years recycling electronics. The employees have always been professional and very friendly. The company moved, at the time of this writing, about two months ago. I was disappointed that the company had moved, but that was on me for not following up. When I went to their new larger location, that disappointment vanished as I realized that the company has grown tremendously. After visiting the new location for the first time, I utilized their hard drive shredding services with no longer used hard drives. The employee who helped me out showed me how the process is completed and showed me the final result...shredded digital information. I am not sure how their services are with pickups as I have never utilized that service. However, I would suspect their customer service is superior in that service as well. If you are in the market for used or refurbished electronics, there is a storefront with electronics for that as well. If you are needing to recycle electronics, destroy hard drives, and/or looking for refurbished electronic goods, then please check this place out. It really is a great place!!! read more

We went there on Saturday to drop off 3 tvs, 1 dvd player, and a printer. We were told it would be a $45 charge. There website clearly states that recycling is free as they make their money through parts. In addition, I contacted them a few weeks ago for pickup and they never returned my call so that is why we dropped off. They need to remove their false advertising from their website. read more

A vet owned business, knowledgeable about their work. The owner (there are 5 total) was informative about the process and answered all my questions. I was able to watch my hard drives (an 09 macbook and 04 Dell PC) be demolished. Cool, but not the coolest part. Take time to walk around the store area....old school (think 80s) apple pcs, 80s flip phones and more. Nostalgia x 100. These guys are real professional. Showed up on time and removed all the Computer equipment I needed disposed. They also destroy all hard disks while you watch and show you the remains. I felt very secure with the process and the fact it is a Disabled Veteran owned business adds to my recommendation. Great job! read more

I stopped by this morning to drop off a tablet that I no longer wanted or needed, and the man who was inside just took it, no questions. I was good to go after that, and I left with confidence. This place is veteran-owned and will your take whichever electronic item they allow that you want to get rid of but not throw away, off your hands right away, before you leave. So if you have an electronic that's broken or otherwise unwanted, you can drop it off there knowing you're doing the environment a favor. If you can't stop by on a weekday, they're open on Saturdays, but only until noon. read more

I had one of the best experiences and an education at the same time. Joe from Sensible Recycling came to my house. I had 6 hard drives to get rid of. As we had an enjoyable conversation, he allowed me to see how the hard drives were being destroyed. Pretty facinating! I recommend this company to everyone!!!!! read more
