This place was great at first, but everything changed when they attempted to reschedule my 9‑month post‑op appointment ,after overbooking it. With my work schedule, I couldn't make the new time. After that, they stopped offering appointments altogether. It's hard not to feel like they're just covering themselves by avoiding follow‑ups. It's now been two years, and I still haven't been seen. You call nearly a hundred times and leave voice mails only for them to never respond back to you. My doctor has sent several referrals and I've been trying to follow up for months. I've tried other places and this one was my last hope. The type of care you receive: you won't receive care. They don't really seem to be worried about helping people. They play phone tag as if your health is a joke to them. It's odd because usually when a business is bogus they'd at least try to take your money. This situation has caused immense emotional distress. The quality of care: I can't really speak on how you will be treated as it seems that no one is ever at work and if they are, answering referral requests clearly isn't in their job description. My doctor began sending referrals over a year ago. My gynecologist has also been sending referrals AND calling on my behalf. They answer the phone for the gynecology office but not for me. The patient. In conclusion: 1. They never followed up with me. 2. I never got an appointment. 3. They don't answer the phone for (new) patients. This was my experience. An excellent, small, weight loss store specializing in bariatric-friendly items including vitamins, supplements, and high-protein yet low-calorie foods. Most customers make purchases to complement medically supervised diets or as part of a maintenance plan to stay on track. It originated for the medical team's patients to be able to purchase items at-cost, but it's open to the public. -- Location -- You can access the store by parking in the back of the building which is where the main entrances are. When facing the building, enter the awning-covered door on your left. Walk in the double set of doors and then walk left (bypassing the front desk), and you will see the small store straight ahead. -- TLC & Discounts -- It has a small, friendly staff. They offer a 10% Sentara employee discount upon request with employee ID. They offer a sale on specific items each month, which can be combined with the employee discount. -- Takeaway -- My favorite place to get my vitamins and calcium supplements! I go multiple times a year. I used to go once a month when actively working on a weight loss plan. This place is an absolute joke and quite frankly should be investigated by the medical board. Going on 3 WEEKS now since my fiancés appointment and still no medications. She gets the runaround, took several days just to reach anyone and we've found out from the pharmacies that this place is not submitting prior authorization forms and ones they do submit they are not filling out correctly and thoroughly with the right info. My fiancé asked for her old meds back they either refuse or blow her off that her doctor won't be back till next week and the prior meds she had no issues with have certain side effects that she has no history of in the past and probably won't be approved by the doctor. To put it simply, why should any patient have to pay a copay for a service that's not being met? 3 WEEKS! unacceptable and very poor business and ethical standards from this place. would not reccomend read more

After initially meeting with the doctor I was told I was a definite candidate for surgery and I elected the sleeve. I went through all classes, appointments and even an online psychological evaluation and was given the greenlight. However no one would call me back to schedule the surgery or even let me know if I was no longer being considered. After several attempts to find answers I simply gave up. I am also out of pocket costs not covered including the psychological exam. What an operation? Quite frankly I have never experienced such a Total lack of commitment to a patient. read more
