I couldn't open the doors, so frustrating. Finally, on my 20th call, I found Westhills Lock. Ami is an "old school antique key expert," and makes the key in his van at your location. AND very reasonable. He's told me he is also called to make keys for old cars, really the only one around that can make these keys. Kind of a "treasure" to have in our community.

He offers a wide range of services for keys & locks on commercial, residential, and auto with years of expertise. He is responsive, and timely. Actually showed up earlier to fix door lock for my brother's broken latch, thumb press, springs, & door lock. I suggest you text him photos of issue in advance for proper analysis. See the sad BEFORE pics for broken springs & latch.. Joesph gave a reasonable & competitive quote, especially when prices have inflated everywhere. He also accepts credit card payments, but cash is best to support him as a small business owner. Given the challenges with the preexisting drilled hole in the door, he was able to get creative & install the brand new Kwikset after the initial Schlage replacement brand didn't fit correctly. He adjusted the door hinges & tightened the exterior base border as a courtesy. He also made extra copies of the keys. Extremely knowledgeable & kind. Works very hard & cares to make needed repairs properly. He kept going back & forth to his vehicle to grab all the necessary tools & parts. He also tested the duplicates to ensure it was working. Also, the fake Yelpers with the invalid horrible 1 star reviews are wrongfully trying to sabotage his business. This should be reported to Yelp as fake & completely out of character to his other validated stellar 5 star reviews. Just awful when Joseph relies upon his reputation & professionalism.
