Unlike our past experiences at Uhaul who offers storage as well, the staff was pleasant and actually smiled. Well being served there was an interruption by another staff member, we never felt like they had anything on their minds than us. She was not interrupted asked the other staff member to wait politely while she helped us. At a little over 50.00 we procured the space we needed. The initial 1 month for $1.00 was fantastic value for our money. Only other charges included a service charge and a lock purchase. Units are clean, secure, and easily accessible. Great job guys, you made my day easy. This was a much better experience than our U haul adventures.

I posted one 4 years ago so this is a second review and I don't know if it will post properly. As mentioned in the previous one, one needs to know it's not climate controlled so it may dictate what you feel comfortable storing there (I briefly had a piano there at one time but I wouldn't have wanted to leave it long term). Only one hiccup in the many years I've used the facility, so that's pretty good. Customer service is excellent, and that is extremely important to me.

We lost about 40000 in rare goods. Don't rent from these thieves. You should take pictures of your goods and video if you can and if they foreclose you can estimate your value of your goods.

Very polite and I am sure he will politely respond here as he did privately. The 1/2 drive charge before and after is a cost that is being added after the fact not in original discussions. (Happened both for packing and move) After my correspondence with him on the extra hours he turned the blame on me that the packing was not done right (unorganized) and the van was parked a bit further away from entry for download. As per packing, his own team were involved in packing majority of our stuff. They spent 5 hours the week before. Furthermore the big portion of our stuff was already stored in their pod since July. Yes They were still many boxes left in our house but very little furniture to move: - piano, dining table, 3 disassembled beds, 1 sofa, 1 coffee table, 2 bed side tables, 2 book shelves, one drawer, 3 chairs , one bbq , one lawn mower and one tv So I still don't get why it cost us this much time and money. Yes we were in unfortunate state that the spot in front was taken. That for sure slowed things down, but not 4-5 hours extra. Yes I made the stupid move to watch my kids around 6 pm instead of watching them for entire time so I let them do the download on their own. Did the download actually took from 3 to 8 pm no breaks?! I would like to believe they were truthful. I tried to resolve this with Kevin privately. . We ageeed that the guys worked hard and took only their claimed 30 min break! I raised the issue of lack of management and proper estimates and that needs to be fixed and for that I need to be compensated. He offered me future discount for a future move !!!! (Which basically is a very pretend polite way of dismissing me) I moved with this company 20'years ago. I was happy enough. That's why I went to them this time. But I will never recommend them again as it will turn to be very costly.

Second time winning a storage locker from this location…read more It's a really good central location. Walking distance to Capilano Mall. Most of the staff are excellent! Extremely friendly and helpful. They take care of the auction paperwork quickly and efficiently. The office is cozy. They have chairs for everyone to sit in and a hot tea station with cookies ! You get a temporary code which allows you to access, clean and remove the storage contents until 10 pm which is so very appreciated. They take a cash deposit for the locker, which is returned to you upon emptying and sweeping it out.

They also offer lots of well priced moving supplies, including mattress covers, tv boxes, dish packing kits, glassware kits, wardrobe boxes bubble wrap, tape, brown packing paper as well as markers, packing tape, various size standard boxes and to top it all off, they even sell excellent locks - it's a one stop shop. There are flatbed dollies on site to help you streamline the process. They also have resources on their website to help you plan your storage, what's allowed to be stored and gives you estimated prices, whether it is drive up, upper level, ground floor, car storage, camper storage, mailbox size or upper level (ladder accessible for light objects.)
