Sephora Heaven; The MOST luxurious of em' all!
    Jen H.

I've been to many Sephoras and this is the grand daddy of them all, hands down! As you enter the store, it's like walking into the Beauty Version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory with the red carpet and a huge, luxurious bottle of Jadore luring you inside. The location is perfect! (On Champs-Elysees towards the Arc de Triomphe, you can't miss it!) As any Beauty Insider or VIB should know, they offer a variety of brands. You'll need to check it out to see what's new in stock since they tend to change seasonally. Look for the gems that's not available back home! Besides skincare and makeup, Sephora also offers an array of perfume selections. If you're looking for a certain bottle of perfume, you'll most likely find it here. Overall, I love this place! Now, can anyone give me an unlimited line of gift card, so I can start shopping?! haha The prices seem about the same as back in the States, but they offer the VAT form (tax refund) that you can fill out in order to get your money back at the airport. Do it! PS VIB points does not apply here, but they do offer their own reward program.

The perfume selection is insane! Then again this is Paris so it shouldn't be surprising. The make up selection didn't seem that huge but covers all the major brands expected at Sephora. The place is a HUGE madhouse though. It's soooooooooo busy despite its size that makes it a challenge to walk and browse around. Despite the madness the staff were willing to help and polite which is nice. They had this Gift factory which was kinda cool and I haven't seen one of those in North America (see pic) And well its Sephora so what's not to love. Except my credit card bill...

Ofcourse the macarons has attracted me and ofcourse I got myself 4 in the souvenir tin! It was super hard to pick 4 out of the many flavors there. But I picked 4 and they were not sweet at all. Tastes great! Environment On the main walking street, you can't miss it. The inside has a lot going on, it is a store, a pastry shop or a cafe! The line system for the pastries was almost non-existence.. but Im glad I was able to get the introduction to the flavors and wasn't busy. But I can see it can get chaotic. Once you make the selection you get a slip to make the payment. Niceness of the staff Despite the amount of people walking inland out and looking, the staff was very patient as I calmed my sensors down. Dollar All macarons are expensive I see. It is close to 3 euro per! When I thought the US macarons were expensive.. it is just as expensive in the homeland! Yes/No I definitely would return here

There was a line for the inside tables on a rainy day but it went quick and the wait was less than 10 minutes. The aesthetic of the interiors is just as delicious as their food. One did not compromise the other. We ordered the baked salmon entrees and the variety of macarons addition. We loved it all! Service was good - make sure to check your bill as they mistakenly overcharged us as the waiters were switching shifts. The bathroom is downstairs and requires a code.

They sell mostly pure perfume, not eau du parfum or toilette, which means potent and expensive. The store is small, mirrored and beautiful. They have about 10 or 12 scents in large vats that you can sniff, then you choose your bottle style, quantity and scent and the staff make it up for you and package it with a lovely box, ribbon and bag. The scents are lovely, if not a bit on the mature side. There was one scent I sprayed on myself that I really liked, but in the end, decided just to get the gift because it was a bit musky for my taste.
