This going to be long, but I feel worth the read. But abridged version- basically these people are the WORST choice in a septic company and should be put out if business. The amount of disrespect and absolute lack of professionalism is beyond mind blowing. My realtor called to make an appointment to get our tank certified as part of escrow. Appointment was set for Monday at 10am. At 8 am on Monday they called and cancelled saying "the tire on the truck blew" (seeing other reviews they often experience truck "issues" on mondays). It we rescheduled for Thursday at 8am. They showed up close to 9 after my agent had called several times to be shortly told "they were coming". Side note- my agent had a terrible time with this company as well with rude attitudes and complete unprofessional am every time she talked to "them" aka receptionist. They showed up late to the job, did not tell me they were there, I just happened to see them walking around on my property. It was obvious I was home! I show them to where the tank is located and open the gate for them. For them to pull their truck in. They pumped and just left. Didn't say they were leaving and they didn't even latch the gate all the way. I have 3 kids (youngest is 2.5) and a breath of wind would have blown the gate open. I walked through my backyard over the septic tank. Thinking they had packed the dirt appropriately, I stepped where the tank was and I immediately dropped about 4 inches into dirt the consistency of snow covering the tank. I'm a fairly graceful person and I legit fell twisting my knee and ankle. Not even to mention they left these HUGE voids and holes that my daughter's foot would go through. I spent a half an hour filling and packing dirt on my own, I asked my realtor to call them and tell them what happened she did and the owner or manager/ receptionist sent out one of the 2 workers and the receptionist for some reason. He comes in with one rake, spends maybe 10 minutes raking (about as effectively as my 4 year old) he was talking under his breath, rude, eye rolling, acting as if I was over exaggerating (he didn't seem to understand I just spent a half hour packing it myself). I gave constructive criticism that he should let people know when he enters/leaves property and he basically shrugged at me, rolled his eyes after interrupting me two times. UPDATE: I called to talk to the owner or person in charge, the receptionist said it was only her, and the owner would not talk to me. I gave her the list of grievances (basically what I put above) and she basically told me, that myself, along with my realtor were liars and exaggerating and no one was ever rude to either of us. I needed my septic tank pumped. I called Septic Control on a Friday and they were on the other line so they didn't answer. However, I left a message and a nice young lady returned my call within 5 minutes. I indicated I needed my septic pumped. She asked me a few questions to make sure I was ready for them to come out. I told her I wasn't in a hurry so next week would be fine. She said "How about next Tuesday between 10AM and noon. I said perfect! They showed up on time, called me when they arrived at my gate, and I waved them around the side of the property they needed to be. I had already dug up the lids. So the tank was open and ready to pump. They got out of the truck and greeted me immediately and introduced themselves by name. One of the gentleman turned around and started pulling hoses from the truck and the other gentleman was making polite small talk with me. They hooked up a water hose to my hose bib and used a tool to break up the floating stuff. Bottom line they had it pumped, the interior rinsed, and everything back on the truck in something like 45 minutes. They were FAST AND CLEAN. They were less expensive than anyone else. I paid by debit card on the spot and they gave me a paid in full invoice! Super nice guys and I will definitely be using them every time I need my septic system pumped. It's a family business and the dad is striving to get it going well for his children! I think that's awesome! Oh and by the way they are bilingual (English/Spanish). I had a poor experience with Septic Control. I called them through the number provided and spoke with Adrian. He referred me to their website to complete the order process for a septic certification. I completed the online form with the date, address, and escrow information. Once I completed the form, I received a call from Adrian and he confirmed the appointment date and time. They no-showed the appointment. I called Adrian and was told he didn't know about the address and it didn't sound familiar. He stated he would call me back later that day to check his records. They never called me back. Now I have a delayed closing on a property because of this company. I do not reccomend Septic Control. read more

Would give 0 stars if possible. Did not answer repeated inquiries. I sent an email on Monday, but received no reply. I phoned on Wednesday, and their voicemail message said to use the "Request Appointment" on their website, so I did that. No reply. On Friday, I phoned and left a message asking for a call back. Nothing. Since they obviously don't want my business, I will find someone else. PS. I wanted this company to come out & pump our septic tank. They did it before we moved in 7 years ago, so presumably they know where the tank is. I said all of this in all of my messages to them. NO REPLY. read more

I've use Septic Control several times at my home, throughout the years and every time they have been on my property they have always been professional and courteous whenever I have a phone call they pick up or return my call right away. They have never tried to sell me or suggest services that are not required, and I have compared their prices with other businesses in the area and Septic Control Services always comes out on top, when it comes to price and customer service. We needed our septic tank pumped and a certificate for close of escrow on our cabin in Wrightwood. We had to reschedule a few times and the receptionist was very accommodating. Once we had our appointment scheduled the technician arrived on time and he was efficient and did his job quickly and thoroughly. We received our certificate by email as promised within a day or two. I don't like giving one star to small business, but after my experience and seeing similar reviews on here, I guess they don't care much about their business. I needed the septic pumped so I emailed them twice within a week from their website, no reply. I figured maybe they didn't get the email, so I called and made an appointment for the following Monday morning, no problem. He said after the job was completed they would call for payment. I expected the call all day Monday, no call. Tuesday afternoon I left a message. Wednesday, still no reply. I called again and left a message. Got a return call shortly after saying he would investigate. 5 hours later he called back and said the pumper had trouble with his truck on Monday and never made it out, but they could come the next morning. No thank you!! Extremely frustrating and so unprofessional, I would advise finding someone else as there are plenty to choose from. read more

Called to schedule a pump and cert; they referred me to their website. Filled everything out...the following Monday they called and said they're on their way...they didn't schedule with me, but were showing up in 30 minutes. I live 45 min from the property, but the tenants were home, so I said okay. Tenant calls me an hour later saying they "couldn't find it and left." No call from them. A few days later they called to schedule an appointment... ? I told them they already went out, and asked what happened. Guy says he doesn't know but will check and call back. No call for a few days, so I called back. They said they'd come out again the next Monday...Never heard from them again. They're a mess. read more

I thought that I would try a local company for a change, so I called them out for a simple tank pump out. They got there and then they 'passed' on the dig up because the leach line is saturated. They were concerned about getting their feet wet when they open the tank. Everyone I know and have seen do this stands on the surface and pulls the tank lids with a hook on a chain. Then you get the hose out and suck up the mess. They couldn't get it done with this equipment. Basically, they wasted my time and turned down a very simple job that is what their business is supposedly about. This was not a good experience. read more

To locate my tank, Manny, used a pole instead of a metal detector being he claimed not to have one on the truck. As he was poking around looking for the tank he punched a whole in my service line. Talked to the man in charge, Martin, and basically said they weren't plumbers and weren't paying to fix it. Totally unbelievable but totally true read more
