As a real estate broker working under a strict deadline, I needed timely responses--especially since this property had two septic tanks that required certification. When an inspection was finally scheduled, one tank passed, and the other needed to be replaced. Although the field technician was fine, the office staff at that particular company seemed distracted and short--they weren't rude, but they clearly didn't have the time or patience to help me get the information I needed. As someone representing my client, I need a contractor who is responsive, professional, and efficient, and I realized I couldn't move forward with a team that made communication difficult. I would drive to the rental house to meet and he would not show up and not answer the phone and then a few days later we would talk again and he would apologize and make another appointment. After about 3 weeks and 5 appointments he stopped answering or calling me back. It was depressing and my tenant is really not happy because they had to live in the house all this time without the problem being fixed. Needless to say, after he quit talking to me I quickly called a different plumber and the job was completed relatively fast. If he would have just said sorry I am too busy, sorry I cant help you, you should look elsewhere I would have understood, but this is what happened and it was depressing.

I told him my situation so he looked all around the house for the drain out pipe not once but twice then we began to have conversation. He was nice and professional and calm. I was the one that was a little upset upset because because all houses have a drain out. He explained to me that it depends on the builder the bills the house, but he pointed on top of the roof and said that's it. He explained to me that there would be an additional cost to go up on the roof to unclog the pipe. I agree to the price and he set up his equipment and spent time doing his job. We had several different conversations as he was working, he was nice and professional kept a smile on his face working and eventually he unclogged it. I was very happy, but he told me the situation was that there was route that broke the pipe and he would located and tell me what he did was in the front lawn, and that most likely the problem would return he gave me some estimates and I was OK with them. I just want to say that this gentleman was very patient with an old man very patient. I appreciate the service. Appreciate a good job be done and while he was here, my toilet was running water. I asked him. Did he have any parts to own his truck to fix the running toilet? He said he did. we called roto rooter about our toilet being clogged…read more they told us it was a free estimate. after he inspected the toilet, he advised us that we needed a new toilet then he charged us $200. which we paid. then he got our permission to go out and buy a new toilet before we knew it, after everything was said, and done, then we owed another $325.00 the receipt didn't even explain what all the different chargers were to equal this amount of money. first, we paid $200, then later it was another $325, without anything being itemized on the invoice. we have no idea of the type of toilet he bought, or any other expenses that were incurred i believe that we totally overpaid for the services, and got taken advantage of. we would greatly appreciate getting some of our money refunded back to us, for the lack of communication, and no breakdown of the different costs on the invoice.

I also appreciated that he tried to get us a less expensive but effective option until it became impossible when we discovered we had a sinkhole forming -- in this case, the city was right -- we needed to replace things to meet city codes (and for our own safety!). The solution to my septic plumbing ordeal began when I called Cisneros Bros. in the middle of the night meaning to leave a message, but surprisingly, after several calls (accidentally called several times in my stress) an actual person answered the phone. Nicole (who answered) must have guessed it was urgent even if after hours. The next day, I met Nathan Knapp who walked me through every single step the crew would take. (Thank you crew!). I was helping my parents with this -- their septic tank broke into a foul river of waste in their front yard. Neighbors called the city for help, we were cited to fix things immediately, and almost $18,000 later it has been fixed. I could not pay ANY company this amount without understanding what in fact they were fixing, how, and the different options. Apparently for many decades, we were not meeting city codes (we didn't know until this septic tank disaster). The cheaper options to "fix" the septic mess weren't really an option because the city citation did not allow the cheaper fixes, but also because we truly needed a major fix. Nathan and the crew (Jeff, Victor and Rogelio) were super hardworking at pumping out the tank and Victor luckily spoke Spanish who could better explain things to my dad. It's hard to pay a bill like this, but I recognize the value of it -- it was necessary, and I really don't think it would have been cheaper or done better by others. We passed the city codes with flying colors and we don't have to worry about a sinkhole or wastewater mess. So glad to have have a brand new seepage pit, new outlet lines etc.!

We were charged for a clogged line that I was told needed to be snaked when in reality they used my garden hose and my water for 1 minute and claimed that was $100 worth of work. After all that A&A damaged my irrigation lines, and when I called to have them fix it and they were less than courteous about the matter. After the first repair, we tested the system and found another line damaged called A&A and they blamed "My cheap pipes" for the damage. Horrible customer service. But if you decide to use them and you're unfortunate enough to have irrigation in their path, have them test everything before they leave and get paid.
