As suggested we went in for an early dinner at 7:30 on a Sunday and was surprised to have the Michelin Star Chef Enzo himself guide us to our table! We ordered the Margherita DOP and Pizza of the day (Carpaccio+mozzarella+basil+olive oil) and certainly these pizzas were the best we have ever had. The dough was thin, light and airy, with a very light use of the heavenly San Marzano tomatoes laden sauce and some Pecorino cheese. The balance of the fresh ingredients were incredible! We polished off a bottle of Morellino white with the pizza and were in a state of bliss. No room for dessert! By 8:30 the place was packed! We chatted with the tables next to us filled with people from all over the world and supported a friendly ambiance (totally unlike other Michelin Star places). On the way out we introduced ourselves to Chef Enzo and he was very friendly. He shared stories and we took pics! The staff were very helpful and called us a cab. What an incredible evening!
