I had him come bid and he told me he was about two weeks out. He started the Job a week later. It took him 4 days to put in a bathroom surround that should take about 1.5 days. He then left for another job and a week in a half later he still hadn't finished the full surround. I had to grout part of it myself. I bought extra tile for the job and chad used a tile saw to cut the ceramic.(a tile cutter) not a wet saw should have been used. I should have known there would be issues right then and there. Tile saws are only used for natural stone. Not porcelain tile. All cuts in shower are uneven splintered and jagged. He ran out of tile. So I had to substitute in another. The tile is not level and was put in uneven. It runs down hill and there is gaps of up to 1/2 inch in difference. Also grout lines run from 1/2 inch yo under 1/4 inch. I was going to have him install two showers, I told him I would not let him do the walk in shower. I put $1632 down . The shower he did was $870 and know he refuses to send me the remainder back. I will be contacting the better business bureau. The tile will need to be taken out and reinstalled at cost to me. I have been remodeling homes for 16 years and have never hired a more incompetent tile setter. He also took the extra materials i had for my next job with him. So I will have to purchase new. If you choose to use this company, Don't say I didn't warn you!

Worst experience with a business ever! Focal Point/IFixFloors installed a floor which came apart…read morewithin a year. After many weeks just trying to get a response from the company and many more waiting for a decision on what they were going to do about the floor, they installed a new floor using what they said was a new process for glue-down vinyl. It too came apart in less than a year. The owner of the company will not talk to customers apparently. Any communication, such as it was, went through whomever was the office person at the time, who had no decision making authority, always had to talk to Tim, and always said Tim would get back to me which he never did. Since they seemed to have a major problem with our floor, I asked several times for them to just return our money and we would go elsewhere. After they received notice from the post office of the attempt to deliver a certified letter from me, some new person texted me saying she was with Focal Point and it "looked like" they were going to replace our floor. After 3 years of aggravation trying to work with this company and two failed floors, we'd have to be nuts to try a 3rd floor from them. A business owner who makes no attempt to talk to a customer after all he put us through, does not deserve anyone's business. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being really, really poor service, this company has earned a minus 10.
