There are no words to describe the feeling you get when Taryn sends you an email with the title "Your Wedding Film is FINISHED!" Serendipity was hands down the best decision my husband and I could have made while planning our wedding. Serendipity is more than a group of fantastic videographers. They are story tellers, they have an eye for detail that is unmatched by any videographers around. We did our research and met with videographers around the valley, but nothing compares to the quality and magic that is Serendipity. Denis (my now husband) and I talked with Serendipity about shooting a love story and a video that introduced our bridal party. We shot the love story and we and every guest at our wedding loved it. Guests still talk about it to this day. It is the perfect way to show your guests the story of your love and how you met. They did an incredible job capturing our personality as individuals and as a couple. Hayle made us feel so comfortable while shooting. When I mentioned the "Bridal Party Introduction" idea I had, Taryn and Jeff were so helpful and SOOO open to my crazy ideas. That video turned out better than we could have ever imagined. I would highly recommend shooting a Love Story with Serendipity on top of your wedding film. Now, about my wedding film. As a bride, I worked very hard on the small details of my wedding. I had a lot of DIY projects and spent a lot, a lot of money on this wedding. After stressing over the millions of details, I am so, so glad that serendipity was there to capture the details that as a bride I didn't really get to enjoy on my wedding day. Not only that, but when you watch your wedding film, when you relive the magic, when you see the emotion on family members faces, when you see your first kiss as husband and wife it brings back so many feelings. It feels like watching a romantic movie produced by the best directors in Hollywood. After Serendipity shot our wedding, I basically begged Taryn to hire me as a coordinator. I was so pleased with my film, that I wanted to join a team that makes such unique and beautiful films. I have experienced every side of Serendipity. I've been the bride, and I've been behind the scenes with the videographers. I've personally experienced how hard the Serendipity team works on just one wedding. I really loved working with Serendipity. They're just as legit as our wedding planner. We met with Taryn and chose our package, which included interviews with us and our family members. We also filled out a really detailed questionnaire that helped me realize what it was I was even looking for. I didn't even think about the fact that the tone of the video could have a sort of theme, like funny or romantic. I really wanted my wedding to be really romantic, and I was able to communicate that through the questionnaire. The video shooters must have had that information because they just did their thing and interviewed the right people. My fiance didn't really want a lot of attention placed on him, and they respected that. He was worried about that since he doesn't like cameras on him. I wish I knew who shot my wedding. It was two really cool girls who definitely knew what they were doing! They were really polite and professional. I really liked being able to tell our story to them. I haven't seen my video yet, but I am really excited to see how they are going to make it romantic, despite some of the things that went wrong the day of (weather was super hot, make up issues, crazy family stuff). Working with Serendipity was the absolute BEST INVESTMENT I made for my wedding day! While doing my research I found that you truly get what you pay for in this category... My whole experience was top notch. From the initial email inquiring to delivering me the finished wedding film the entire experience was so fantastic. Serendipity was all of the things I hoped for when working with a vendor for my wedding. Response times on questions was instant. I worked directly with the owner so I was never shuffled around. The experience was incredible before I even got my film.... The cinematographers on the wedding day were fantastic. So personable, totally unobtrusive... I never even knew they were there!! And then I received my Wedding Movie Trailer and WOW... I was blown away... Then I got my Wedding Film and I cried good tears all the way through the viewing experience. I had the best experience with Serendipity Cinematography! I can't lie and say I wasn't nervous about the investment that comes when hiring a videographer, but I am so glad I did! Every step in hiring them was super fun and easy. Taryn explained all of the different packages they offer and helped me narrow down which one would work best for me. I was pretty nervous about having my interview done as I'm a pretty shy person and I didn't want to come off uninterested or completely nervous in the video. Once I sat down to do the interview our team for the day made me feel relaxed and comfortable. They were a blast to have around the whole day! I was blown away by how well the Serendipity team got to know my husband and I before our wedding. They had us fill out a questionnaire beforehand. Our voice was really heard when they asked us what we wanted in a wedding film. On our wedding day they were amazing and so professional! They captured all the amazing moments and more. Serendipity Cinematography did the most beautiful job on our wedding video!!!!!! Every member of the staff was a delightful edition to our special day and Vanessa went above and beyond by re-lacing the back of my corset dress during the course of our wedding. There were interviews with family members and with my husband and I, which are such a special part of our wedding video. I am so glad that we chose Serendipity, I had honestly considered skipping video taping our wedding, but I am so glad that my mom and husband convinced me otherwise. Where do I begin? Serendipity went above & beyond! The staff was super RAD, they were extremely professional (yet made you feel like you were hanging with your best friends), and their Same Day Edit blew our minds! The story they were able to capture in only a few short hours after it all happened was exceptional! We couldn't thank them enough for telling our story perfectly that left even our guests in tears! Serendipity Filmed my wedding and they were AWESOME to work with! Seriously the best of the best. Taryn answered all of my questions, even my non-video related questions, and was able to refer us to our Photographer and DJ - She is seriously a GEM and her experience shows!!! Phenomenal customer service, professionalism and great work! Our video took a little under 5 months to complete, but they were totally up front with us on the time frame and were finished one month early! The only thing I would change would be to not receive just a link, but also a dvd as our tv doesn't work well with internet links. However, they were very efficient in referring us to a company that could produce them for us at a minimal cost. read more
