Met Cherie who was manning the shop while her husband was out. She has a number of photographs she has taken displayed in the store...she has an incredible eye for detail and subject matter. Her animal images are really wonderful and quite vivid. Spent some time talking with Shawn...the co-owner. This store houses all kinds of vintage industrial items, some they have converted into usable household items. There is some really neat items here to create a one of a kind item for your home and they are adding items all the time. Shawn was fun to talk to and shared all kinds of ideas that some of the items there could be used for. Highly recommend you stop and visit with Cherie and Shawn...great people and a wonderful shop and barn to poke around in and find yourself a new treasure.

Unlike your normal antique shops, you are greeted by a 6 ft catfish at the front door and there is a fantastic mural on the side of the building! We came by in search of antique/refurbished furniture, more specifically a kitchen table. Sadly this place does not have many furniture vendors, but what they lack in furniture they make up for in eclectic variety of everything else from candles to art to retro kitchen sets, restoration kits, incense, vintage toys, clothing and all kinds of knick-knacks. Service was non-existent sadly. The attendant was present, but could not be bothered with looking up from her phone as we wandered around the main floor where she was located. There were many people coming in and out, and she did not speak to anyone. I get it may not be the most exciting spot to be on a weekend, but a little "hello/have a good day" can go a long way. Overall, High Cotton was a cool spot. The location in downtown Dickson is cool as well. The area is certainly small-town America at its core, so once you are done wandering around inside, hit the sidewalks and do the same on the square. We live in Nashville proper, but this spot makes for a good afternoon weekend trip everyone once in a while!

Fantastic community organization that offers a food pantry for those in need, as well as, a public…read morethrift store that is separated into consignment area with gently used clothing, jewelry, and accessories like purses, hair items, shoes, and so much more! As well as, a separate home and antique section with furniture, decor, books, puzzles, and so much more - including Christmas decorations. Teachers and military can get a 20% discount! Staff was very friendly and second Saturday of every month is their Super Sale where everything is 50% off. It can get crowded and hard to find a parking spot, but well worth a visit or stop to drop off donations for a good cause!
