Brendon and Amber are the best massage therapist I have ever experienced. When I first went to this place, I was a little skeptical because the place does not have the ambience of a typical spa like The face and body or Massage Luxe, however, once I was done with the massage I realized those things do not matter at all, what matters is how good was your massage therapist. At serenity massage, I had the best massage ever in st. Louis. Brendon was totally courteous and acquiescent to my needs. He focused on the areas I asked him to and was spot on with the pressure as well. I realized how much other places like the face and the body dupe the customers by not even utilizing the full time and differentiating people with groupons. Massage was cancelled 60 minutes prior to appointment time by my therapist Danielle. She said the owner. Dr. Duane Marquart hasn't paid her in 3 weeks and she won't be working for free. I had a conversation with Dr. Marquart and he seemed rather disinterested in running his business and admitted he doesn't take an active role in it's management. I have been a customer of Serenity Massage for a few months now. I didn't want to write a review until I had gone a few times to just make sure I wasn't getting over pampered my first time. My overall opinion: I absolutely love it. Every time I walk in there, I am treated as if I was their top priority. The massage therapists are phenomenal. I have had massages done by both the male and female working there. Each therapist has their own style and create a calm, relaxing environment in their rooms. I have never walked out of there in disappointment. I continue to go back, even just to relax. The prices are fair and every dime is well spent. I am a patient of the chiropractic office they are located in and one random day just decided to try it out; I am VERY glad I did. The 5 star rating I give them is well deserved. read more

I brought a Groupon and contacted the team to schedule a message appointment. The issue is that no one will pick up the call and will revert to email in a day or so. I initially booked an appointment and got it rescheduled. My appointment was at 3 PM and I told them earlier that as they work 10-5PM from Tuesday to Saturday only, i will take a day off. At 1-2PM the same day, i got a call from them saying the therapist can't make it as he/she has to undergo some surgery.. The guy asked me when i needed to get it rescheduled and told me that he will check and get back. I tried the same number several times but no response. Then i left it as is. Day before yesterday i got a notification from Groupon that my voucher is expiring in next 1 week so i contacted them and as usual no availability on Saturdays. I was told that they have a vacancy for Tuesday and i sent them an email later saying please schedule me for Tuesday 5PM and didn't get any confirmation. Finally my groupon deadline was missed and wasted my efforts. Phone never ever got picked up in the meantime. read more

My boyfriend purchased a groupon for me for Christmas 2014. After several months I was able to get in. He on the other hand, After 1 full year,3 cancelations and a no show on the therapists part he never got a massage. Every time it was something, therapist was stuck out of town, root canal, family emergency. This is the worst place ever!!!! After calling groupon 2-3 times they finally agreed to give him his money back. They have no evening appointments, no weekends and will for sure schedule you 3 months out every time!!! read more

this place is a scam. bought a 3 massage package. then called to scedule it & had to eave several voicemails & finally got a call back from a black gentelman that told me they were booked up over 2 months from groupon special & he was very busy & to call back please. then i called back several times over several days & finally got a call back from him again. he then told me i was a few weeks away from it expiring & that now i had to only get 1 90 minute massage instead of 3 60 minute massages. i then told him that wasnt right. i then called back with no reply & started leaving bad reviews & got a cal from a black female who told me i couldnt get a massage there because i had told them i had a few bad disc & wanted to get in quick. they said they might hurt me. i said thats why i wanted a massage is because i had a bad back & hurt. there web page says a earlena clark does the massages but i couldnt talk to a person by that name. there is also another serenity massage & i asked if i could go there & the black gentalman said they were not the same company. but when i went to there site it said it had the same earlena clark there. it is a scam scam scam !!!! dont go there. read more
