I've now been two or three times under the new ownership. Sadly, the previous staff is gone -- who can blame them given the rocky transition. I had one or two favourite therapists and I miss them. The staff size has also been reduced so there is way less availability during the day. The massage therapist I've been seeing is good, but overall I feel the facility is losing ground. The place used to be immaculate and really felt like a spa like experience. I was in there last week, and spa shoes were dirty (they aren't cleaning them between clients - something I've noticed during previous visits), the floor has traces of salt and snow on it whereas it used to always be pristine, the decor is not as sleek as before -- there's a white leather couch that looks kind of tacky and holiday decorations that look the same. I always loved that they sent you away with a cup of hot tea. The tea is still there. I wasn't offered one during my last visit, but the time before was offered one -- so overall it's an inconsistent practice and I feel too silly to ask when not offered. I probably won't be returning once I use up my massage series, unless these new folks up their game soon.

We are the most straight and narrow, well behaved people, and have no idea what Craig the owner is talking about. Unfortunately, what I experienced was the exact opposite. I requested a mild deep tissue and stress-relieving massage, but instead, the therapist (Jo Lan-Tsai) stepped on my back with her full body weight. I clearly disclosed that I am asthmatic, and yet she applied such pressure that I struggled to breathe -- how is that supposed to be therapeutic or relieving? In addition, her massage technique was rough and careless. At one point, she pressed directly on my closed eyes with noticeable force. It was painful and incredibly unprofessional. This was not a relaxing nor a healing experience. I left feeling worse than when I came in. My back is now sore and aching from the excessive pressure she used while stepping on me. I genuinely regret coming here and will not be returning. First time -- and absolutely the last. Not recommended.

He doesn't just crack unnecessary joints, and he tells you exactly why he is doing what he is doing. On my last visit, I had asked if I could be squeezed in if possible as I was leaving the country for 10 days and my jaw had seized up completely. Last time this had happened was due to stress, and it had lasted a week. I'm unable to eat when this happens as I can hardly move my jaw. Dr. Lawson saw me within 2 hours of me calling. He did enough work on my jaw and gave me exercises so that my jaw was better within 5 hours and hasn't seized up since. I was also able to eat on my vacation and enjoy my time off :)
