I do not recommend this clinic. The first time I went, I waited more than 1 hour and the second time I waited more than 2 hours, all of this with an appointment. If I could, I would give a negative rating. The service at the reception is terrible. When you complain about the wait, they respond rudely and mockingly. I asked why they scheduled an appointment if they don't keep it, and Néia at the reception desk said mockingly: "Hey, you scheduled an appointment to see the doctor, right?" Of course I scheduled an appointment to see the doctor. The question was why they don't have control over the schedule. It seems that they schedule short intervals between appointments or more than one patient at the same time, because it is not normal to always have such a long wait if it is not a walk-in. Getting through to them on the phone is also very difficult. They do not have the American standard of care, where when they are wrong, they apologize and keep quiet. They do not use the patient's dissatisfaction to improve; they want to fight back and continue making the same mistake. read more

I hate this doctors office. I hate the staff up front. They do not answer the phones. They do not call back. The nurses don't answer their phones. I called twice just recently for a perscription refill and they refilled the wrong med. I called back again and requested the same med I needed and they sent the wrong refill again. Just now I called as Publix sent a refill request last week and no one responded. The ONLY reason I put up with this crap is I love my Physicians Assistant. She is excellent and I have known her for 20 years and have been going to her for awhile. I told her also the only reason I go there is because of her. She is loyal to them but for what! read more

I was overcharged for doctor's services a few times. So I brought it to the attention of my Insurance. My Insurance contacted the office to instruct them to refund the money to me, but nothing was done for 4 months! I needed to transfer my prescription to a different pharmacy. The new pharmacy has some questions about this prescription, they contacted the doctor's office 3 times(!!!), but nobody from the dr. office got back to the pharmacy. So I called the office, was put to a voice mail for a nurse, and left a message, but nobody called me back. The wait time is always 2+ hours after your appointment if you don't have the day's first appointment. That is the norm. The whole office has lunch together, and you can hear very loud conversations in the waiting room by the reception desk. You can wait an extra 0.5-1 hour if you don't speak Spanish or Portuguese. That is another norm in that office. I understand that all this stuff is under office manager supervision, and she doesn't manage office staff at all. read more

I only went to this office because my husband had gone there and had a good experience with Dr Menendez. I never got to see him which was fine with me but the office manager is H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E. My plan covers my physical 100% but somehow they still charged me a bunch of fees. the blood work for my physical was not coded correctly so I was charged over $200. Getting refills was impossible for a simple maintenance blood pressure med. issue after issue and the officer manager could not resolve not one thing. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I went to this doctor following a stay in the ER for dehydration, after 5 months of persistent GI symptoms, including severe nausea, diarrhea, bloating and constipation. I told him that so far my scans had come back negative, but my GI was ordering further tests. After meeting me for 5 minutes, he not only called me stupid for wearing a mask with him because apparently the COVID pandemic was a bunch of "political jargon," but also told me that I was anorexic and needed to be treated with a psychiatrist. All this was within 5 minutes of meeting me, without looking at my records or history. I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor and I will never be setting foot in this practice again. read more

I cannot provide feedback of Dr. Menendez himself but I can say that Deanna Crowningshield, a nurse practitioner, who works in his office is terrible. I called to leave a message and she never returned my call. She said the insurance would cover the lab that was requested but then the office coded it incorrectly so it wasn't covered and now I have to pay it. Please don't go to this practice, they don't care about patients. It was a terrible experience because they couldn't care less...... read more

Lazy doctor, if you make an appointment with him, don't count on him seeing you. His secretaries have no idea what they are doing and can't speak or explain anything well for you to understand, they just have a job. They are very nasty and rude! They are the worst to getting referrals out so you can count on probably getting more sick because you cant see a specialist until they feel like it. Don't talk to them in perfect English with big words because they will not understand you. This is why they take advantage of the older spanish speaking citizens that put their trust in them! They will charge you if you are late for your appointment But if your on time, don't expect them to be on time, you will sit for hours!! Which is rude for them charging when they are not time! I will never have my parents go their again! They always seem to have more trouble with this office!! The sad part is that when I speak for my parents about referrals with their specialist, they feel the need to say that they have called D. The staff is very very rude. They do not know how to navigate insurance companies. I had my insurance company call them, send them my insurance card and they still had issues. Their office is so busy that you will wait for over an hour and half to just get put in a room to wait for a doctor. The last time we were there another lady was waiting for her dad to get out and they had waited for 2 hours for him to be placed in the back and another hour before he was even seen. They finally left after 3 and half hours. When you call to make an appointment they assume they know what is best for you. The front office does not listen to anything you have to say; they interrupt you while you are trying to explain anything to them. DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!! Dr. Menendez serves patients well, but dealing with the staff at this location is akin to pushing on a string. Getting them to perform basic tasks requires a litany of phone calls over days or weeks. In one instance, my wife couldn't get lab results reviewed for weeks, and the doctor had to make an emergency dose change when she found out. In another case, the staff explained that they couldn't tell whether a fax had arrived at their office because, "the person who retrieves the faxes from the machine is absent, so we won't know if it arrived until tomorrow". Seriously. I'd rather entrust their trust feral animals to do their jobs. read more

My family and I go to see this doctor that is taking care of my sick grandfather in an acute inpatient medical nursing home. We make an appointment to see him and talk about my grandfathers condition b/c he cannot speak due to his trachesostomy. This doctor has the nerve to want to charge us $85 just to know how our grandfather is doing!! Some doctors are all about money. Money to me, is not an issue, especially when it comes to my grandfather, but this man told my family to pay him, even though he was over an hour late and had this disgusting attitude or he would not care to see us b/c "we're" (a family who has a critically ill patient) taking up his valuable time!!!! He belittled my family, by saying he doesn't care for my grandfather, called us indecent people, and screamed to us that my grandfather will never talk or walk again!!
