BEWARE HIDDEN BACON! I ordered a Hawaiian quesadilla, described on the menu as: Grilled chicken, steak, pineapple, and cheese. Cooked with bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Served with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and guacamole, with cheese sauce on top. Nowhere did it mention pieces of bacon in the meat mix. I asked the server if I'd misread the menu. After consulting a guy in Spanish, she said "sorry" and sent it to be fixed. The "new" plate looked no different. I spent a few minutes weeding out more chunks of bacon. She stopped to ask us (4 in party) if everything was good. I told her NO! Still have bacon in my dish! Pointed out that 2 of the others asked for changes; no sour cream on the taco salad & no mushrooms on the veggie quesadilla. Neither request was honored. I eat KOSHER, so no pork! To have it HIDDEN in the dish is offensive. She asked if I'd like something different. I told her I don't trust you anymore. No one item on their menu lists bacon. What about someone with ALLERGIES? Other than saying "sorry" repeatedly, she did nothing to improve the situation. No apologies to the others for her mistakes. No discounts. She did remove my dish from the bill. I still paid for my Pepsi. I should have taken pictures of the pork-fest and asked for the manager but didn't think of that until later. I did leave her a tip 2 cents! read more

Absolutely worth it! The birria pizza is huge, packed with flavor, and every bite is delicious. The meat is tender, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the flavors are bold without being overwhelming. You definitely get your money's worth--the portion size alone makes it more than worth the price. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. This is a huge blue building that is very easy to see. This place has a gigantic parking lot with outside seating under a tent. The food is very affordable and tasty. The service was great. Came here a couple of times to watch NBA games. All the food is great quality and tasty. The drinks are amazing. I want to live here. read more

First, wait staff didn't know what a margarita was. It's a Mexican restaurant. Worse, the bartender didn't either and apparently made up something that tasted like flat seven-up with Long Island ice tea. Undrinkable. Switched to bottled beer. Food was okay. Soupy beans. Burrito "Supreme" was not. It was about the size of most enchiladas. It had lettuce tomato and sour cream and lots of cheese. But it was small. Tasted okay, but I'd hit McDonald's before I stopped here again. Lastly, the little things. There was no water offered. No questions asked about the margarita sitting untouched. Just moved here from the Southwest and had no hopes of finding good Mexican food in the Midwest. We have tried several options in the area and had almost given up when we happened to be shopping right next door and decided to give it a try. The drinks were strong, the seasoning was right. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the cheese sauce, but that is easy enough to avoid with their big menu of fresh food options. I love that it is a little family owned business and they are doing it right. This is probably 40 minutes from my house and 100% worth the drive going forward. We will be back. read more

This is actually one of my favorite restaurants in town. It's the best Mexican restaurant around. My friends from out of state were impressed and we are from Southern California!! Place is unsanitary and there have been multiple instances of fingernails and hair in the food from others who have eaten there Instead of trying to rectify the issues, the manager curses at customers and tells them to never come back. Robbed me $5+ for a small side of cheese that was claimed as being an appetizer. On top of that the cheese wasn't even good, and the chips were grease soaked and weren't crunchy any more. Would not ever recommend. read more
