Their sauces clearly are home made. And, most importantly, the flavors remind me of my childhood in Mexico. Overall, it was good Mexican food. Solid. Flavorful. It is not entirely what I would call true Mexican food. There were some TexMex elements in their food, but overall the flavors were what I would expect from good Mexican food. The last time I visited, they were upgrading their locale, so there was a bit of construction happening. I cannot wait to visit again in 2026. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Marion!

Second time this has happened. Later Fernando asked me to pre-pay my bill to close out the register. Then another server came by and asked to take my plate away...I said "I'm not quite finished" (never asked if I wanted a to go box) she pulled out her iPhone and showed me that it was 10:01. The food was not fresh we got chicken bowls and the meat had obviously been there awhile. Tables dirty, floors dirty and the drink station was sticky, trash on the floor. We went early so I'm guessing it hadn't been cleaned before they opened. Will try a different location but definitely won't try Marion again too many other restaurants to choose from
