This restaurant deserves no stars really, because it was the worst service I have ever received. Did not get helped for at least 10 minutes after being seated, then ordered drinks and appetizer. The server brought the cheese dip and it was COLD! We sat there waiting for our drinks for at least another 10 minutes and the waiter passed our table 15 times and never came back. We hadn't ordered yet, hadn't eaten our cheese dip cause we wanted them to warm it up and I had requested hot salsa and never got that either... Several severs continued to pass our table and workers were hovering around the bar chatting while we continued to receive no service now 30 minutes in. Ended up walking out without receiving drinks or even ordering food yet. The waiter was smug and nobody seemed to care. read more

There are so many Mexican restaurants in Conway and finding one that stands out has been a chore. But I will be coming back to Serranos again and again for (a) the super delicious Tacos Carne Asada and (b) the AMAZING service. Every time we've been to Serranos the service has been very good, but this last time they went above and beyond. Our 6 year old got a bit, ahem, sick at the table, and before she was even...done, a lady I assume was a manager or owner was at the table with a load of napkins. Then she came back with a bag. Then more napkins. Then when I stood up all clueless like, she knew exactly what I was doing and pointed me to the restroom. Then, a water for my girl. And finally, a fresh plate of food to replace the one that had been ruined. We didn't have to ask for a thing. Every single need was anticipated before I could even think of it. I already knew they had excellent service, but...wow. They took what should have been an uncomfortable situation and turned it into a wonderful dining experience (if you can, ya know, forget the part where my kid ralphed on the table). Aside from that kinda gross tale of spectacular service, I can also say the food really is great. My husband and I have settled on the aforementioned Tacos Carne Asada as our favorite. I now crave it. For breakfast. Further, the chips are hot and fresh and my finicky daughter wholeheartedly recommends the cheese dip. Just be warned: if you order the large margarita, you better have a margarita-lovin' friend by your side. Or an extra stomach. Happy dining! read more

Moving from Houston Texas (known for tex-mex and Mexican food) I can say this is the best place we've found. The food was excellent, rice and beans were certainly on point. My husband's plate came out late, due to a misunderstanding with the menu, but it was definitely worth the wait. At least he knew his food was fresh and made to order. They've only been open for 3 weeks so I give them a pass. My picky eating children devoured their meal. Prices were extremely reasonable.Margaritas were awesome. Not too sweet or weak. Chile con queso was amazing! I had a plate (can't remember the name) that came with a taco, chalupa, tamale, chile relleno, enchilada rice and beans for $9.50. Everything was delicious and taste just like home. This is going to be our go-to Mexican restaurant. So happy we finally have a place to enjoy chips, salsa, margaritas and good authentic Mexican food!!! read more

Avoid the Dave Ward location at ALL costs! I was charged nearly $6 for a taco because of the type of shell I requested? They refused to adjust my order and then laughed at me when I had to return for items they forgot to put in my to-go bag. Incredibly rude and condescending service. 1/10 read more

Serranos is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Possibly the best cheese dip in Conway, and they are always quick to bring you drinks and your food is always made quickly. By far the best Mexican restaurant in Conway. Reasonable prices for great food, unique options not offered by the "typical" Mexican place, up to date decor and seating with a great environment. Tv's line nearly every wall making it a great destination for sports and events along with the bar that's fully stocked with an insanely cheap happy hour from 6-10 everyday. I have eaten inside 2-3x and service is fair and food is decent, and a little over priced. I have ordered to go and portions are very skimpy for the high price. They also only provide a half cup of salsa with a to go order, so I recently requested additional salsa with my to go order, only to be told I could only get one per entree and would need to pay for additional salsa. I find this quite funny since if I eat inside at a table, I get unlimited salsa. Needless to say, I will be avoiding this place. I come here a lot, and every experience I've had with these guys has been fine up until tonight. I just got off work at my restaurant job and stopped in for a beer and some food before I headed home. Their happy hour is from 4-9. I came in at exactly 8:58, and by the time I sat at the bar and the lady bartender came to me, it was exactly 9 (by my automatic iPhone time). Their digital clock said 9:14, and their analog clock said 9:00. The bartender points at the digital clock and says they can't do happy hour because it's too late. I showed her that it was 9:00 exactly on my phone and she went to get someone who spoke fluent English to explain to me that it was too late. Then a lady manager came and asked me "how can I help you?" And I explained that I've been here a lot and enjoy the restaurant, and explained that I was technically within the 4-9 window of happy hour to buy a discounted beer. She was extremely rude and kept telling me "it's 50 cents sir. It's 50 cents sir." She finally yelled "fine I'll pay for it, what do you want?" And proceeded to get me the wrong size beer. (I don't care about the 50 cents, and neither should they. It's about customer service.) I also didn't appreciate being made to look like an a****** at the bar top. The bartender however was nice and patient with me, and after the rudest manger ever left, I paid for my meal, tipped my bartender 50% and explained to her hat it was not her fault and that her manager doesn't know how to present herself professionally. read more
