We've now had two excellent experiences at Chewy's in Conway, Arkansas, and felt it was worth sharing. The portions here are impressively generous, and everything we've tried has been consistently delicious. On one visit, our server Vanessa did a fantastic job--attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. On another visit, we had the pleasure of interacting with Tyler, the manager, who was equally professional and made sure everything was just right. What really stood out to us was how seriously they took our food allergies. It's not always easy dining out with dietary concerns, but the staff here handled it with care and attention, which made the experience that much better. We are just finished a volleyball game and decided to grab something to eat. We had not tried the Conway location of chewy's, so we thought why not. Chips and salsa came out quickly and were delicious. The staff kept our drinks flowing and our chips filled. They did a great job. The fajitas I shared with my daughter were very blah. The meat was in such large chunks. We had to cut them down just to be able to chew it, the veggies were undercooked considerably. My son's burrito bowl was OK nothing crazy. The extra sauces that we ordered were not worth the money we spent on them. The overall experience was so so, it would probably be a while before we go back and try it again. read more

Chuy's was a fun experience. The restaurant was clean with a fun decor and friendly staff. We walked in and were greeted as soon as possible as there were several people waiting. The only downside was that when we were told that there was a wait we were not offered to sit at the bar which was empty. That was not offered to others either. Once I asked, we were told that it was fine. Luis and Nisha were awesome at the bar. They made sure we were comfortable and got great service. Once seated Maddison was attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the comida deluxe and the chicken flautas. Everything was perfectly cooked. And looked just as good. Service was very attentive and polite. Sam was a joy! Oh and there's no that's not my table shenanigans going on here. We were checked on by everyone that thought we might need something. The restaurant had a very comfy setting. Music was a little loud but tolerable and the rooms were well lit. Oh and before I forget the salsa! My new favorite. Good flavor and spice unlike the others. We went not long after opening and we were a bit disappointed. They service was extremely slow and it took forever to get our food. I assume it wouldn't have taken long if they would have brought our food out when it was done, hence why it was cold, so it probably sat there waiting to be brought out. The atmosphere was pleasant. We arrived a little after the lunch rush and chose to sit at the bar. We were greeted by Weston upon sitting and received great service the entire visit. We ate the best chips, salsa and queso that we've had in a long time. The chips were thin and crispy, the salsa had chunky tomatoes with cilantro and onions, but that queso was to die for. Rich cheesy, flavorful goodness. Our meal consisted of the Taco salad as well as the Cobb salad. Both had generous portions and flavorful. Weston was very knowledgeable about the history of Chuy's and explained how everything is made fresh in house daily. We ate at Chuy's on April 5. It hasn't been open long and there were associated service failures (never refilled drinks and appetizers came out at the same time as our meal) but the staff was friendly and there were also positive service aspects (food arrived quickly after ordering) and the food was the same as you would get at any other Chuy's location. The music was very loud, actually intrusive, from the time we arrived around 4:45pm until they turned it down and dimmed the lights a little at 6:20pm. We had to yell across the table. Our party of three was seated at a four-top in the middle of the bar side of the restaurant. Our order consisted of cheese dip and guacamole for appetizers along with 1 x chicken fajitas and 1 x steak fajitas. Given our appetizers arrived at the same time as our meal and each fajita order comes with separate rice, beans, tortillas, and meat, our table was overflowing. We had to put personal items in the spare chair because there wasn't enough room on the table. There's no way it would have worked with a fourth person in our party. We had a lot of separate food items but the table itself felt small. To be honest, the entire restaurant felt small. As stated, our table was in the middle of a room but there was a constant flow of people moving in very close proximity to us on all sides. The loud music, overflowing table, and close proximity to many passers by lead to an "anxious" dining experience. It wasn't pleasurable. The restaurant's diminutive size (perhaps I'm wrong...but it almost seems like a small format Chuy's) and newness likely lead to our long wait time to be seated (almost an hour wait beginning at 4:45pm). During our wait, I wager 30 people approached the hostess and left due to what eventually turned into a 1.5 hour wait for parties of four. Two stars because the food was good, standard Chuy's fare and price was reasonable. I do not plan to return in the near future because of the wait time and cramped, loud, overall unpleasant dining experience. It was honestly one of the more unpleasant meals I've had in a long time. read more

What a great new restaurant in the Conway area!! We always loved eating at Chuy's in the Dallas area and were SO excited to hear of one opening here. We went to the 'friends and family' day before the actual opening day and the service was beyond fantastic!!! The service was exceptional, and the food was very tasty. The only exception was that the cheese quesadillas could have used a lot more cheese.
