I bought and replaced the module myself, and then contacted Adiel (aka Eddie) at AFA. He promptly sent out a locksmith, Carlos, who cut and programmed a new ignition key for me within fifteen minutes. Adiel was great with communication, and Carlos was very professional and understood the truck's computer system better than the guys at the dealership did. It all turned out faster, cheaper, and way less hassle than the dealer. I'll be using AFA for any future issues I have.

As we live in Grant County (and not Silver City), the tax should have been at a 6.3% rate. As it was, the owner charged us at an old Silver City rate (8.25%). The Silver City rate is now 8.125%. So, buyer beware. While the owner did a great job installing the new door, he needs to be sure to charge the correct gross receipts tax.
