The store was similar to the one in Austin but maybe a bit more of a selection. Right away I found alligator boots that are just amazing looking. The person helping us was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the boots. Unlike the other store I first visited, here they also had other clothing and in particular, their jeans. The jeans look nice enough to wear with a jacket for a nice event, but they also have casual jeans. I know these boots are a bit expensive, but they are never going to go out of style and they will last a lifetime. They have so many amazing looks with their boots so I know I will be back for another pair.

I was struck by the number of piñatas in this candy store. San Antonio is known for piñatas. There are common at birthday celebrations ranging in size from small to large. The piñata is filled with candy and the blindfolded person hits the piñata. The piñata is normally strung from a tree and the person hitting the piñatas is spun around before swinging at the piñatas. Of course as a kid the fun part is grabbing the candy when the piñata bursts open. Fond memories... On to the next location...
