Fast and inexpensive. My touch screen stopped working after I got my phone fixed from here. I would still come back and recommend.

Review for Cracked My Phone - Lakewood Employee: Edgar…read more After a long and frustrating day calling multiple repair shops and even stopping by the Samsung store in Cerritos, I finally found Cracked My Phone, and Edgar was the reason I felt relieved enough to stop searching. My daughter's Galaxy S22 Ultra screen cracked inside her backpack, and she needed a replacement ASAP. Other places either tried to upsell us, couldn't give a straight answer about pricing or availability, or became pushy the moment we asked about the difference between original and aftermarket screens. One store even called me four times after I politely said I would look elsewhere. Edgar was the complete opposite. He answered every question with patience, honesty, and zero pressure. He didn't rush me, didn't try to upsell, and didn't call repeatedly after giving me a quote. He simply provided clear information and genuine customer service, something that's rare these days. Because of his professionalism, I'll be dropping off my daughter's phone tomorrow and taking my business here. A little patience and honesty truly go a long way, and Edgar showed both. Highly recommend.

Can I leave zero stars??…read more Edgar was not at his business when it was supposed to open at 10 AM (at least that's what the lettering on the door says) and then tried to turn the tables on me when I called and texted. (I had called the day before) He didn't answer the phone, but texted that he'd arrive in 5 minutes. I told him I'd wait in my car and asked if he could let me know when he arrived...and then nothing. 20 minutes later when I texted back, he said 'i said I would be there in 5 minutes' (screenshot attached) Unprofessional. Zero Customer Service. Rude. I like to support small businesses, but will not spend a cent with someone as entitled and rude as this. He also had the audacity to ask if no one would fix my phone for what I paid to have the identical fix performed before...and although he's only a couple blocks from my house, I will take my device anywhere else BUT here. Lakewood deserves better

He still took the time to go through everything and made sure it was operating exactly how it should. Nowadays that's pretty rare. Dude is cool as hell, knows his stuff, and actually cares. He even got it connected to dial-up broadband... I swear I heard *"You've got mail!"* before it printed the test page. At one point I think my printer started asking where Blockbuster was. Josh, if you're reading this, I gotta say too... whatever you did with the shop looks good. Everything feels way more balanced and just has a good vibe whatever you replaced was worth it hands down This dude works FAST. He's like an octopus answering phones, helping customers, fixing computers, and somehow still has time to answer my million questions. **Legend has it Josh once fixed someone's computer by unplugging their attitude.** They say his computer has never seen the spinning wheel of death because it's too scared to show up around him. For real though, if you need anything tech-related, quit messing around and go see Josh. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your cousin who still has 67 tabs open and swears it's for work. I'm definitely sending people his way. Appreciate you, Josh!

SCAM BUSINESS!!! I am beyond angry with this place! I was initially SUPER happy with Mohammad and…read morehis service, but now I think I was scammed! I went in for a cracked (very badly) back glass. It had shattered over a year and a half ago and I just left it, until the distorted photos finally drove me crazy. (the crack had gotten to one of the lenses). The phone worked fine, and I just kept a case on it. Mohammad was very quick and friendly, and my phone was fixed for about $160 and I went on my way. About a week later, my phone started acting funny (like it was possessed)... and then went black. I took it back in, thinking maybe something had been altered/accidentally knocked loose when my back screen was repaired, but was told that NO, it was a different issue. He replaced the front screen b/c my LCD had gone out and it was an electrical problem...and I was told that it was a very high quality replacement, and that my phone should be as good as new! ($300 ish this time). Two days later, before I had gotten around to getting another screen protector, my front screen cracked when I GENTLY TOSSED it into my gym back. No big drop, no hit with a hard object! In over 25 years of having a cell phone, I have NEVER CRACKED a screen! And before just dropping $450 on fixing it, I had never before been gentle on a phone. I have dropped, thrown, etc my phone and they are tough! So, I grit my teeth and have been living with a slightly cracked screen, which should not have cracked with what I did to it! Since the repair(s) my phone was also laggy, calls on WIFI were dropped, and internet worked about 60% of the time. Something was definitely wrong. THEN, this morning... out of nowhere, my phone dies again. Screen went black, and it still vibrates, so it is charged... but nothing happens. There is just no way that this is all coincidence. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. I will be checking into taking legal action at this point. ADDITION: took phone to another reputable repair place and they laughed at the screen that was put on and were adament that it was a CHEAP replacement, that was absolutely the WRONG screen for my iphone, and that iFIX would have absolutely known they were using a faulty part.

1 Star - Terrible Experience, Avoid at All Costs…read more Back in Dec 2024 I brought my Samsung Galaxy Flip5 to The Fix at the Lakewood Mall to repair a spreading dead pixel on the inner screen. The total cost was $551.24, and I deeply regret ever trusting this shop with my phone. Before the repair, my phone worked perfectly--I had strong cell signal everywhere I went, hardly any dropped calls, and fast internet speeds. After The Fix replaced the inner screen, my phone became nearly unusable. Calls began dropping constantly, internet searches would either take forever or not load at all, and I had little to no signal, even at home where I previously had full bars. I did some research and learned that with Samsung Flip phones, replacing the inner screen is tricky and requires carefully reconnecting an antenna under the screen that controls cellular reception. I suspected that the employee at The Fix failed to reconnect it. When I brought the issue back to his attention, the same employee who worked on my phone refused to take any accountability. He made one successful phone call on my phone and claimed that proved there was no issues, insisting he "does good repair work." He told me to come back again if the issues persisted, but why would I trust the person who broke my phone to fix it correctly the second time--especially when he refused to recheck his own work the first time I asked? I ended up taking my phone to uBreakiFix in Downey. They confirmed the phone had been incorrectly repaired, and although they offered to fix it for the same price I had already paid, I chose to cut my losses and just buy a new phone. With the same SIM card, same cell phone service provider, and using my new phone in the exact same locations as before, my new phone has zero issues--no dropped calls, fast internet, and full bars all the time. To me, this confirms that the problem was 100% caused by the repair from The Fix. I had my Flip5 repaired at the location that's close to the T-Mobile inside the mall, but I would avoid both of the locations of The Fix inside the Lakewood Mall. They are unhelpful, dismissive, and clearly not trained to handle complex repairs--especially for newer devices like the Samsung Galaxy Flip5. I wasted over $550 and was left with a broken phone. Learn from my mistake and take your electronics somewhere else.

After holding the power and volume down button for about 20 seconds the phone would come on and go right back off. I took it here to get it repaired. I found this repair location on google with a different name (ESM cell phone repair). I was charged $41.60 to have my phone inspected to see what the problem was and get it repaired. I was told I would get a call in an hour or two after the technician checked my phone. After waiting over 3 hours, I called to get the status on my phone. When I called, I was told exactly what I had told them how the phone was acting. Clearly they had not looked at my phone at all. I asked what I next step was and the guy seemed puzzled. I was asked if I wanted to come pick up my phone. Since it was obvious that they couldn't repair it I went back to pick up my phone. It appeared that the phone had no been touched. I guess this was an easy way to make money off people without providing any service. I advised to steer clear of this place unless you have money to give them just because. One would think they would at least refund the money for the wasted trip.
