We had a water leak in the ceiling. They had a crew out here immediately to start drying. Everything went down hill from there. The job was never finished. Double D construction was the subcontractor doing the work. They would come in, work for a short time, or no time, and leave without telling us when they'd be back. They would leave drink cups and cans in the middle of the floor. They would leave woodwork they pulled out laying in walkways with nails sticking up. They would move things into walkways, block the walkway, and just leave it there. I contacted Service Master innumerable times about issues. Finally one day the workmen just stopped coming. When I called to find out when they would be back, I was told that they were finished. They weren't. I sent a list of all the things yet to be finished. The manager from Service Master came back, did one or two little things and left. The job is still not finished. read more

I wouldn't recommend to anyone that needs repairs completed. I had to basically operate as a manager and tell them what to do, if I hadn't they would have left my bathroom looking horrible and incomplete. They still never finished caulking the back of the toilet or paint the trim so I will end up finishing those things myself. I have an old house that does have some slants in the floor from settling, but they were insistent that a 1/2" gap between the trim was the best they could do (even though the original bathroom had trim that fit perfectly on the floor). I had to stand my ground and make the contractor go buy quarter round to hide the gaps. The contractor also bought the cheapest transition strip that is made for carpet and is bright silver for my vinyl flooring and claimed that was the best match he could find. Again I had to complain and stand my ground and he immediately found a wood that matched almost perfect. read more

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing in regards to the driver of the van with the Oregon license plate 783 NYU who was operating this vehicle on Tuesday Nov 21st about 4 PM in Longview. As I was merging onto the Lewis and Clark bridge heading northbound, your van was driving at a normal speed. Yet as I positioned my vehicle behind the van, the driver noticeably slowed down. I figured they were simply adjusting for the uphill climb. I kept my distance as is my habit since I see no reason to speed or tailgate. Once off the bridge and turning onto Industrial Way, your van went into the right lane. At that point I tried to go into the left lane but your van cut me off. Thus I went back to the right lane and attempted to get past your van at which point this driver then chose to speed up to again cut me off. Clearly this move was intentional! As I continued on Industrial Way, the driver of your van had opportunity to get behind me and then flashed the high beams at me. Really?! Whoever this driver is, they do no credit to your company and should be taught how to drive courteously and why. There was absolutely no need for their behavior. That driver was exceptionally rude!! read more

Work never completd. Every crew was new each time came to house. Communication poor.

This has been the worst experience we've had. They don't communicate with each other and the client we've been told three different things and different finish times. They damaged personnel property and refuse to fix or replace. They have pretty much left us with a mess and questioning if things were even done properly we will never use or refer them read more

Twin City Laundry has an continuing relationship with ServiceMaster by JTS. Service Master takes care of our high duct ceiling cleaning and vacuuming because they have the equipment and staff to reach those high areas that we cannot take care of ourselves. Service Master also cleans our Water Trough to remove debris that lingers and eventually gets smelly. Service Master is more than a "crisis team" for Twin City Laundry although they have, once, cleaned up after a drain pipe backup that caused a flood. We consider Service Master part of our business management team. They are one of our go-to's for unique events (crisis) but also we call and receive referrals for work they don't handle. Dried or house after a washing machine leak. They did an excellent job. Set everything up in a timely manner and whem all was finished they cleaned up the house and left it ready for the repair people. read more

I live in California, and I had to use the Longview Service Masters crew to take care of my uncle's house after he passed. It was a challenge to manage the cleanup process from a distance and Service Masters did not make my job any easier. Their foreman walked out and they basically abandoned my job for months. When I had not heard from them, I had to call and they quickly realized they had forgotten about my project. They put another project manager on it but by then the house was over grown and needed so much care in landscaping and maintenance. When they "finished" the job, there were still appliances left in the kitchen that were not hooked up and plumbing that was incomplete. They cost my uncle's estate thousands of dollars and then had the nerve to send me bills without explanation for charges. After two years I just got a statement explaining and they are still unreasonable for the crappy service I received. If there is anywhere else to call I strongly urge you to do so...don't let Josh and his team near your home. read more

Due to an arson fire, my 350 sq ft studio apartment needed a complete overhaul. Fire, smoke and water damage made it a down to the stud restoration project. As I live 78 miles away from the apartment, I hired ServiceMaster By JTS. Met with their project manager and was assured all would be handled for me and work would take about 3 months. Communication was poor at best, the project manager NEVER went back to the property to oversee the people he hired to do the work. Lack of company oversight produced shoddy work; I personally made the 150 mile round trip six times, each time found major issues with workmanship. I called a halt to the work after 4 1/2 months when the unit wasn't even half way finished and ultimately fired them. read more

Overextended on projects, failure to communicate with tenants, inconsistent work quality and schedules, and lack of professionalism with some of their subcontractors. Despite repeated attempts by several tenants to receive communication from the project manager, nothing adequate received. Failure to communicate with tenants has resulted in their lost wages and treats of termination. I would like to recommend to potential customers that they request information regarding how many projects Servicemaster is currently working on, as well as a timeline of accountability prior to entering into a service agreement. Otherwise, a one month project will take six, and wreak havoc on your personal and professional life. read more
