I booked a Service + MOT with Servicing Stop and I deeply regret it. They collected my car on Friday. Both on their website and during our conversations, they clearly state that the service is completed within one day. I was told the work would be finished on Friday and that my car would be delivered back the same day. Communication was perfectly normal until I made the payment. After payment, they confirmed delivery between 4-6 PM on Friday. However, after 5 PM on Friday, I completely lost contact with the company. No one answered the phone. Later, I realized they do not operate on weekends, which meant I would not receive my car that week. I had to cancel and rearrange all my plans because of this. On Monday morning, I called again. They gave vague and incomplete information and told me the car would be delivered on Monday. Yet after 4 PM on Monday, despite calling multiple times, no one answered the phone. Their attitude after payment was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. If they had honestly informed me that the work would take 2-3 days, I would have understood. However, the lack of communication, ignoring calls, and failure to provide accurate information is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the prices are very high. Many other customers also report being overcharged. Paying such high amounts and receiving this level of service is outrageous. I absolutely do not recommend this company. read more

I booked an MOT and service with Servicing Stop, after making it very clear from the beginning that I also wanted a quote for a rear diff service. When the day came, they suddenly refused to quote for it or carry out the work -- despite this being the whole reason I booked with them in the first place. The MOT passed with no issues... yet according to the "service", my car apparently had a huge list of faults, including "unsafe" brakes. Funny how the brakes were "too unsafe to drive" but somehow safe enough to pass the MOT on the same day. The contradictions were unbelievable. The phone call that followed was even worse. Instead of advice, we were met with pressure, scare tactics and arrogance. The member of staff spoke to me and my husband like we had no clue about cars, and made it sound like we were obligated to approve hundreds of pounds' worth of work we didn't need. It wasn't a recommendation -- it was a hard sell. The so-called "77-point service" was honestly a joke. They changed the oil (for an extra charge), changed the filter, and that was about it. £172 for something that barely qualifies as a basic service. The whole experience left us feeling uncomfortable and misled. This company absolutely preys on people who aren't mechanically knowledgeable, and I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT USE SERVICING STOP -- especially if you don't know much about cars. They will try to take advantage. We will never use them again. read more

Extremely Poor Service, Major Failures, No CommunicationI rarely write reviews, but my experience with Servicing Stop has been so unacceptable that others should be aware. My car was not returned on the agreed date, leaving me without transport for an entire weekend. I had to cancel work plans and spend money on taxis. Nobody was reachable--no phone, no live chat, nothing. I was completely left in the dark about my own vehicle. When the car finally came back, I discovered that: The service history booklet wasn't stamped or signed, which is basic industry practice. The main issue I reported--a vibration when braking at high speed--was not looked at. I was told the garage "didn't investigate because the brake discs looked new." Completely unacceptable and unsafe. A simple request to fix the rear passenger window, which gets stuck, was ignored. This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've had with any automotive company. Lack of communication, lack of basic quality control, and failure to deliver the work I paid for. I am now having to escalate this formally. Would never recommend. read more

Servicing stop DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I recently used Servicing Stop I booked a MOT & Service I was quoted £156 They collected my car as agreed the next day I was contacted by Service Stop to say Mot had failed and required bushes replacing at an additional cost of £1550 I said I did not want the work doing , they replied the work has already started . My car was not returned the next day as promised. I tried calling and emailing and also tried to use there chat line ,none of which I could get a response to. I looked on line to find many poor reviews and scams reported . We found the garage where the car was being worked on after advice from the police. They would not release the car until I paid the £1550 . I contacted a reputable local garage and was told the Service Mot and bush replacement would be around £500 I spoke to one of the directors , eventually who was very arrogant. and was obviously used to dealing with unhappy customers and adamant that the cost was £1550 and had to be paid before the car was released . please don't not use Service Stop unless you want to be ripped off . read more

Terrible experience - avoid at all costs! I've just had an awful experience with Servicing Stop, dealing with a staff member named Dean, one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to. He completely failed to explain the costs properly. I was told on the initial call that they would not start the work until payment had been made by the payment link sent in the email. When I received the payment link and it was almost £1000, I wanted to query this. I tried to call back several times to confirm the costs, and they did not answer the phone. Eventually Dean called back and said that they had already gone ahead with some of the work on my car with no confirmation or agreement from me. I was later hit with an unexpected bill of over £500 for work I had never authorised. When I questioned this, Dean was dismissive on the phone, even accusing me of being rude simply for trying to get clear answers. Several times, he made sure to mention that they would keep my car unless I paid. He said that he would review the call recording, but when I asked for a copy, he initially refused. Only after I mentioned my right to request any data held on file about me did he reluctantly agree. In the end, I had no choice but to pay just to get my car back. The whole situation was stressful, unprofessional, and completely unfair. I will never use Servicing Stop again, and I strongly advise others to stay well away from this company. read more

Like a lot of the Reviews say, Car not picked up or dropped off within the hours given - not even close. pick up 1 hour and a half late. Dropoff "between 4pm and 6pm" - currently 6.45pm and id genuinely love to know where my car is. Unless you want to sit in all day guessing at what times its actually going to be done, just take it to a garage where they'll usually stick to timeframes. If anyone would like to find out where my car currently is, or refund the £7 I've lost for missing a 6.30pm collection whilst waiting for my car, id appreciate it. First and Last time I use these. EDIT: 845pm and I still don't have my car, nor can get hold of any number. wondering at what point I call the police? SECOND EDIT: Never got my car back. Had to pay for a taxi to my night shift, and will have to pay for a taxi home. £50 on taxi's down the drain, to go with my £7. Absolutely disgraceful. DO NOT GO WITH THIS SERVICE! no info about where my car is AT ALL! Third edit: ITs now 12.45pm the next day. after trying to get through to someone all morning I finally got a call at 10.30 am saying my car would be back within the hour. I made it clear I needed this so we could get to work for 1pm. We work 20 miles away. Its now 12.15, still no car, and I'm pretty sure they've blocked my number so I cant get any further updates. the ONLY work being done is an oil filter change. If you are reading this and haven't booked a service with them yet DO NOT DO IT! once they have your car they couldn't care less about getting it back to you. they couldn't care less about you having to work or losing out on money. They couldn't care less about actual customer service despite their replies to bad reviews trying to make it look like they do. I have genuinely never dealt with a company this bad in my lifetime so far. read more

Booked yesterday 5/08/25 and paid. Tried to contact them to change collection point. No actual person to speak with just a computerised Karen. The number they quote on their website isn't a telephone operated system. Had to call my credit card company to cancel the payment ( got to wait 2 days for a refund). Don't book this company for you car repairs, service. They are a piss poor set up. Won't let me post this review unless I give a rating. So 1 star read more

Awful company. Took the car for a service, called and said according to the service schedule car also needed brake fluid change and pollen filter. That was fine, i asked how much and they said £541! The cost for these 2 things is usually around £100 max. Told them i didnt like being extorted they dissapeared and stopped answering the phone. Got the car back without the service being completed and £136 down for them to drive my car about for a day. I paid £154 for collection and delivery, full service and MOT on my car I received a call saying the car had passed it's test, and they could do a "couple of things to enhance its condition ie adjust a wiper blade ,using vinegar and brake fluid, when quoting price he (Dean) spoke very quickly and I now beleive deliberately misled me into believing he had said £8 .50 he n said the word hundred o pound just 225 etc. Then I got texts every 5 mins, to pay the bill I was shocked to see it was for£850 pounds, he said I wouldn't get my car back if I didn't pay.l panicked, and when he offered to do it at "trade" price £520 Ipaid but didn't state it was under protest. The chap that returned the car said no extra work had been done as it was him who would have done it. My car was picked up at 9.30am, at 2.30pm someone called me to ask if I had my car or if it had been collected. It is now 8.30am the following day, my car has yet to be returned and it is not possible to get in touch with anyone at servicing stop. Their phone number does not accept inbound calls, no-one is responding in the online chat and their email service gives a 2 day turnaround. In calling the garage on the confirmation email they had no record of my car. I'll be submitting a police report if it's not back shortly as servicing stop seems to have lost my car and certainly has fully breached their own terms and conditions. I have now submitted a police report to locate my vehicle and if they try to charge me overnight fees for unauthorised storage of my vehicle, I will seek to make a legal claim for compensation. read more

I wish I had read all the reviews before booking with Servicing stop. The car was collected and dropped off as expected but maybe I was naive in not realising that the quote given did not cover everything that was required for the service to be completed. I was contacted and told that it was a requirement for the oil and brake fluid to be changed - so there were additional costs of over £300. Perhaps I should have contacted the garage direct to find out if this was true. May be I will do just that! I don't get why they don't make it clear when booking that the cost is only for the labour for carrying out the service - unless it is to deceive their customers. I will not use them again read more

SERVICING STOP IS A SCAM My car was not delivered to me on the day i cannot express my utter dissatisfaction with their service the garage said they instructed them not to deliver my car payment was made by 1700 hours their office first tried to contact me at 1625 and at 1633. I called their office back at 1635 and a message came across that they would call me back. My call logs show that they returned my call at 1656 and requested payment for further work i told their representative that i am driving at that moment and would make payment as soon as i can stop. I made payment at 5.01pm, i have online proof of payment i contacted the garage and they later said they did not clear my car and thereafter informed me that they damaged my alloy wheels on their ramp. I feel their service is provided by cowboys and they are not to be trusted. Failure to deliver my car inconvenienced me immensely DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE read more

Picked the car up no problem. Phoned and said it needed £350 worth of repairs for a simple service (on top of the £123 for the initial service cost), however, said it was not optional and it was. Completely failed to provide a clear explanation over the phone by mumbling and using car terms. Took advantage of someone who has no experience in cars. Terrible quality for money and EVERYONE to go elsewhere for the extra money. If there was an option for negative stars it would still be too high of a rating. read more

i cant state this clearly enough, this company rip people off. i asked for a full service at £156. they called me saying car needed an engine flush, costing an extra £154. i agreed as they wouldnt release my car to me unless this was done. now here is the scam part. my car was delivered back to me by the mechanic of a 3rd party shop. i asked the mechanic if an engine flush was done, he said no. i immediately phoned service stop for a refund which they said would be in my account in 3 to 5 days. i am still waiting on refund. if i never asked the mechanic about engine flush i would be none the wiser . they are just lowlifes. read more

My Jaguar IPace went in for a "regular" service quoted online after mileage etc details filled out, got a good price for going ahead Car picked up on time, however that's where the positive experience ended Got a call from Servicing Stop to say that Jaguar advisory recommended a brake oil change, something they should have know BEFORE they quoted the price for the service For the joy of that plus a pollen filter renewal, they wanted upward of £350 + VAT, even though in their email confirmation to me, it stated as follows "Upon inspection of the vehicle we may find that additional work, including special oils (our set price of 24.99 + VAT)" I refused to go ahead and they had the car returned, however they refuse to update the online service history because of this brake fluid. Servicing Stop are Scum and Scammers!! Where to start with this review. I was enticed by fact I could get a full service and MOT for around £90 (£30 discount by paying up front) just after filling in all of my detail this was increased by around £25 for various other fees that were tacked on at the very end of the process. This should have been my first clue to the type of company I was dealing with. Another reason I thought this company would be appealing was that they will pick up and drop off your car after servicing. The car was booked in to be picked up between 8:00-10:00. The car was actually picked up around 15 minutes later than the expected range with no indication from company. Once the car was picked up I received no updates until around 16:30. When I was contacted by the company representative on the phone. They spoke as quickly as possible, randomly spraying numbers and issues down the phone. I had to get them to repeat this list 3 times to write down the problems and corresponding prices. This is a blatant sales tactic to fluster people into paying the extortionate prices. I was quoted £1140 to fix the issues to pass the MOT. When I added up the figures I had been quoted and added VAT their sum should have been £1090 so I have no idea how they managed to arbitrarily add £50. Obviously I told them this seems extortionate given that the repairs weren't major at all. I told them I'd like my car delivered back so I can decide how to progress. The representative then seemed annoyed, but told me they would deliver the car back if I paid a final oil change fee (£25) as my had car required specific oil. Amazing that this was added after my had been serviced even thought they knew 2 weeks in advance the exact make and model of the car. When I got the report back for my car I noticed half a dozen of the servicing checks hadn't been completed and were just marked with N/A instead of a tick. The following day while I was at work I received a phone call in the morning from the same representative who told me that I needed to pick up my car as they wouldn't transport it given it was no longer under a valid MOT. This hadn't been told to me the day before and I believe they withheld this information until I had paid the final charges of the service. I ended up taking the car to another garage that made all of the repairs and had it re-MOT'd there for £186 total. Do not trust servicing stop! They're the literal scum of the earth that will try ever method possible to extort you. I have nothing good to say about my experience and would advise everyone I meet to steer clear of this cancerous organisation. read more

It's unbelievable. I don't know how this company even exists. This is a pure scam. I pre-paid for the full service, the car was collected the next day and the driver said he would return it between 4-6 pm. I received a call around 3 pm saying that I had to pay £430 more for some extra work which I declined. The guy was very rude on the call and said he would not stamp the service book. I said that was fine because at that point I already felt something was wrong so I just wanted to get my car back. I kept calling them from around 17h00, no answer and the voice message said the office was closed. I emailed, no responses, I texted the mobile number that texted me to confirm collection, but there was still no answer. I thought maybe the driver was running late or something. I waited until 10 pm and decided to find where my car was because my wife needed it to go to work the next day. I called a few friends and decided to track the car. We went to collect it in Hitchin at midnight parked on the street and took it home. I am now constantly chasing this company to give me back the spare key and service book. Let's come together and sue this company big time. The owner should be jailed and pay us a big compensation. My email is henryclaud89@gmail.com, I'll be joining forces with a.matousu@gmail.com to build a case against Servicing Stop. Please share your email address if you've also been a victim of fraud from this company. read more

This company is legit, but is probably bordering on a scam, and we potentially caught them lying. Attractive initial prices draw you in to paying at least a 200% mark up vs other garages. I'm also 90% sure that they lied to me about when work was completed after they sent me an email saying that I had approved work before they even spoke to me. I booked my motorhome in for it's annual service and MOT and found the initial offer attractive. I knew that extra work was needed and that brake pads needed replacing for the MOT. The van was picked up bang on time, initial communication was good. All good. At around 5.40pm I then got a phone call from somebody at service stop. Simultaneously I also received 4 emails. The gentleman on the phone proceeded to list lots of problems - referring to said emails - mainly problems that they were not going to do anything about out of the kindness of their heart. Whilst listening to this extensive list I was trying to read the reports on the emails - which didn't exist when I clicked on them. I then received two further emails which I was told to look at instead of the emails already sent. These contained a quote for repairs that did need doing. I was staggered at a price of £1700. Bewildered by all of the information (I believe that this was a sales tactic) i eventually caved and said 'I guess i'll have to.' Within 1 minute of hanging up I realised that two of the earlier emails I had been led away from said that I had approved work ... this was before i'd even seen the price. I checked the MOT - this had passed despite the fact that I knew the brakes wouldn't, and none of the extra work mentioned was showing on the advisories, and none of the advisories had been mentioned to me. I tried to ring back straight away - turns out they have no mechanism for speaking to them directly. This I believe is another sales tactic. I quickly rang another local garage to ask for their views on the cost and was informed that changing brake pads should cost £100-£130, not the £300 quoted. I rang another garage who said the same. With three separate garages telling me that they would carry out the work for £600-£650, I began trying to contact servicingstop in earnest. The website doesn't display a phone number. The live chat function doesn't get through to a person. I sent multiple emails, used the resolver app to raise a complaint - there was no way through despite 3-4 hours of trying. Next morning at 8am I began again. The phone number i found online simply went to a message telling you to check the FAQ's and use live chat. Live chat went nowhere. Eventually after multiple emails, I got a phone call at 8.45am. The person I spoke to informed me that 1)the work was more expensive because they do it properly and don't cut corners (more labour hours) and that work was almost finished on my van so it was too late. This is where I have my major problem. It seems to me that those two things are mutually exclusive. IF they do jobs properly and therefore need more labour hours which justifies the huge mark up on their prices, then how has work been completed by 8.30am the next day, when they close overnight? If that is true, then either they have overcharged significantly on labour because it didn't take at all long, they had already started work before my permission (remember I received my approval before giving approval, and this could explain passing the MOT despite needing work) or they were lying and work hadn't yet finished (I didn't get my van back until 6pm that day). There are no alternative options to explain this - and I will never know which it was. TO be fair, they did give me a couple of hundred discount - but this still leaves me paying double the going rate. Overall, my experience of this company was poor. They appear legitimate, and technically didn't do anything wrong as I gave my permission over the phone. However, their sales tactics, customer care, and general operation is questionable. I will certainly be avoiding in future. read more

Booked in my Corsa SE 70 plate via ServicingStop, mileage just over 21000, PAK Motors collected car, during full service they indicated that it should a full engine oil flush and renew the oil, and drain and replace the brake fluid cost circa £400, told them no just do the full service as booked. Mileage was recorded wrong they put 23000 on service sheet, tho recorded it correctly on service book, oil they said they used differs from what they recorded in said book. 2 weeks ago EML light comes in and I noticed engine was loosing power and there was a noise coming from the engine my brother a very competent mechanic did diagnostic which pointed to camshaft sensor or belt, he had a quick look and found there was no oil in the car, he topped it up with over 2.5L reset the EML and it's been fine since, current mileage just over 22000! No obvious leaks which would need to be major to loose a full sump of oil in the space of a few weeks and would be visible on the road, so did PAK motors pull a fast one knowing that I would take the car back to them under warranty and find a fault, did they do the fuel drain before asking them stop when I said no. I leave you to judge. UPDATE 5 October 2023 Complained to them on 7 Sept 2024, and numerous times since all I got back was box standard reply from "Halley, your complaint has been escalated to our complaints team, they will try to reply within 5 to 7 days". Every time same response so used resolver.co.uk to complain guess what same box standard reply. Do they really have a complaints dept? On reading reviews it does appear that they sign up garages without due diligence and have poor reviews even when customers have gone direct to said garage, clearly these garages sign up to servicing stop to get more business. I wish I'd read the reviews here before using this company. TOTAL SCAM - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. These guys are impossible to get hold of by phone. If accidentally they pick up, they fob you off pretending they will look into things. If they bother replying via email, it's more fobbing off saying someone will look into things or call back. They don't give a toss, and are totally uninterested in anything. They kept my car for over a week without communicating what was going on. Thank goodness I found the name of the garage my car went to so I could rescue my car back. Do NOT use this garage at all! Most unreliable service I've ever seen. Booked my MOT for last week with collection. They called me to rebook it for another day, I agreed. Next time they didn't even call me at all, just not turn up. Then rebooked after I called... Next week they took my car and made me an unrealistic qoute for £1000! I asked others in the area and they quoted me half of it with urgent service. I asked them to bring my car back (still had to pay for their "service") and they declined, just told that they will bring it back at the end of the day. Without any reason. Last year they also quoted me 3 times then the normal price and didn't get my car back even on the same day. I had to call the police and only get my car back another day. Without my permission or even call me to explain. To get the details of the garage and the supervisory body's contact details took me hours! Big disappointment, didn't show up, no calls nothing, complete waste of time. On the 16th May 2020 I made the booking online for my vehicle, to have a full service on Tuesday 19th May 2020. They sent me emails confirming the booking and a text on the 18th May 2020 that they would be collecting my vehicle on the 19th between 8am & 10am. However they never turned up to collect the vehicle, didn't email, text call, absolutely nothing. Even when I emailed them - nothing. In hindsight it was a good decision not to pay for the service upfront. Really cross about this, I needed this done over my days off work. I could have booked somewhere else and had completed by now. I have spoken to Gary on multiple occasions, most recently at approximately 5.45pm on 31/05/2023, before I had the opportunity to speak directly with the independent garage and ascertain the actual cost of the works. During our conversation, Gary assured me, "we are just charging you what the garage charges us, I have no reason to lie to you or to try and pull the wool over your eyes." In this case, specifically, Gary has tried to get me to pay for a light bulb replacement at circa £110.00, while the garage has confirmed that they informed your organisation that this item was £25.00. Upon discovering the significant price difference between the independent garage's overall quote for all works of approximately £700.00 and the inflated amount of almost £1,900.00 demanded by Servicing Stop Ltd, it has become apparent that Gary's statement was both underhanded and an outright lie. Such deceptive practices not only breach consumer protection and rights legislation but also undermine trust and confidence in your organisation, as demonstrated by the numerous negative reviews online that refer to Gary in particular, but also your practices as a whole. Furthermore, upon conducting this research on independent review platforms such as Reviews.io and TrustPilot, it is glaringly obvious that Servicing Stop Ltd has a history of employing deceitful and underhanded practices to extract excessive amounts of money from customers. Numerous reviewers consistently mention the addition of unnecessary services, many of which I recognise from my own case with you, falsely claimed to be required for passing the MOT. This recurrent practice, whether mandated by your organisation or carried out by your representatives independently, misleads customers and coerces them into spending more money than necessary. These practices are both ethically questionable and violate consumer protection laws. As a concerned consumer, I am troubled by the fact that Servicing Stop Ltd engages in questionable tactics, which compromise the supposed integrity of the services you claim to provide. The significant increase of over 170% in the charges compared to the prices submitted to you by the independent garage. raises serious concerns about your practices. I insist on an immediate explanation for the vast difference between the prices quoted by the garage and the charges imposed by your organisation. Considering that you already charge the garage a 15% administrative fee and also profit from their services; I find it outrageous that as merely the intermediary between me, the client, and the service provider (the garage), you impose both the 15% admin fee on the garage and over 170% price markup on me. I would argue this is excessive and unjustifiable, especially as I was explicitly told that you only pass on to me the price the garage submits to you. Overall, the level of service provided by Servicing Stop Ltd has been abysmal, exacerbated by the shock of discovering the price markups and questionable practices employed by the company. Failure to address these concerns in a satisfactory manner will leave me with no choice but to proceed with reporting this matter to Trading Standards, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). These regulatory bodies exist to safeguard consumer rights and ensure fair business practices within the UK. I believe that the pricing practices employed by Servicing Stop Ltd, coupled with the deceptive behaviour of your representatives, constitute a violation of these regulations, particularly where I have been misled to take out a credit agreement for a large amount of money which is not reflective of the actual works carried out. I am reaching out to both your local Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. Bambos Charalambous, and mine, Mr. Peter Bone, in order to emphasise my concerns and seek their guidance and support regarding the issues of unethical practices and consumer exploitation. read more

I booked a service, never got told where the car was going, and when I visited another garage a week later with something else I got told that Servicing Stop garage had ruined my car! They never flashed out brake fluid just topped it up with a wrong one but still charged me double the usual price! They allegedly changed my pollen filter and ripped the whole under tray below glove compartment out as if I gave it to them like that! Double charged me for that work too! Charged triple on auxiliary belt if they changed it all and the best part is that they overfilled my oil which caused the most devastation to the whole car and caused about £2000 worth of damage in having to change the gasket valve cover which was leaking oil, all spark plugs which were full of oil, oil was also all over coil pack cables and in their wells as well as in all 4 cylinders! This wrote my car off which I'm now having to sell as a non-starter for £400 and I had to buy another one! What was Servicing Stop's response?! Over two weeks later still none and I'm still having to pay their finance company the installments for having ruined my car! This is also having to go to Trading Standards as I've literally paid them to ruin my car and they don't care!!! If you book them for anything expect the worst. This is an office completely remote from the garage that apparently dictates its own prices and works that are allegedly going to be done. So they are extremely quick to tell you what "needs doing" and even quicker to charge you for it but the moment they mess up, you may never hear from them again! I curse the day I booked them! read more

AVOID My car passed its MOT after having a new tire and bulb change (which im sceptical about to say the least) For these parts (excluding the price of the MOT and Service) they charged me over £350. These people are rip off merchants. They are a middle man between you and a local garage that massively inflate the price. After speaking to the garage, they advised me they only charge £100 for the work. So I guess servicing stop took £250 for today's admin? read more

AVOID My car passed its MOT after having a new manifold and brake changes they charged me over £900. These people are rip off merchants. They are a middle man between you and a local garage they seem to massively inflate the price. Communication if rubbish and they seem to choose the cheapest garage they can, which included the one who might not complete the work correctly! read more

PLEASE DO NOT use this company !!! I would like to tell you about my experience with Servicing Stop. Following a service a paid £525.24 which felt is too much. I phoned the garage who completed requested work. Owner of the garage explained to me that they did all work but had from Servisingstop £100 only. On question ,,Why they took so much money from the customer'' Servisingstop answered: ,,We can take as much as we want''. Unbelievable. This company is an absolute disgrace. I wish I was more careful, had read reviews and seen the WatchDog investigation prior to booking. If you are thinking of using this service -- don't risk !!! read more

Excuses, Excuses, Excuses A £160.00 Full Service not I have used the service once before, last year, I thought that the service was very good and they did everything they said they would. Collected and delivered to my place of work, washed & hoovered. So using them this time I expected the same. Last year I did think that they had invented a fault just to bump up the charges, but not as much as this year This is what they came up with this time, over £1,000.00, add to this the cost of the service. FUEL CLEANER & ENGINE FLUSH £35.40 BRAKE FLUID REQUIRED IN-SUFFICIENT CONCENTRATION £54.00 O/S/F HEADLIGHT REQUIRES NEW BULB £28.20 EXHAUST LEAKING AT JOINT ADVISE REMOVAL & RE-SEALING £46.80 EXHAUST MIDDLE BOX SLIGHTLY LEAKING OF GAS REQUIRES REPLACEMENT AS THIS SECTION OF THE EXHAUST IS RUSTY HAS DEVELOPED A HOLE £126.42 N/S/F LOWER BALL JOINT RUBBER SPLIT REQUIRES REPLACING £74.72 N/S & O/S ANTI ROLL BAR LINKS WORN REQUIRE REPLACEMENT £83.57 REAR FOG-LIGHT NOT WORKING REQUIRES REMOVAL DRAINAGE OF WATER BULB INSERT & REFITTED £53.70 POLLEN FILTER DUE ON SERVICE SCHEDULE £41.40 FUEL FILTER DUE ON SERVICE SCHEDULE £41.74 SPARK PLUGS DUE ON SERVICE SCHEDULE £37.12 FRONT TYRES AND N/S/R TYRE ARE CRACKED AROUND THE WALLS RECOMMENDED TO REPLACE CONTINENTAL £96 (PER TYRE) N/S/F HUB CAP IS MISSING NEW CAP £32.38 All prices are inclusive of parts, labour and VAT. I can probably do some of these things myself, the car is only 7 years old, but the prices seem quite steep. I did have the Anti Roll Bar Links done and the lower ball joint, the brake fluid was allegedly full of water but £54.00 for some Brake Fluid, it was explained to me that it was important so I agreed that this was done, I also agreed that the Spark plug cover should be done, as it wasn't actually the spark plugs, however, that couldn't be done as allegedly the part wasn't delivered. But wait there's more to this story. I'd arranged that the car was to be picked up the night before, which worked out really well for me, the driver collected the car and seemed really interested and filled me with confidence about the service side of what they were going to do. Chatty and polite and very focussed on giving customer service. According to the information you are provided with, the car will be delivered back between 4.00 and 6.00 p.m. after all the work has been completed and once you have paid, I paid on-line as prescribed this came to £456.21, including the Spark Plug cover which would have to be done the next day at no extra cost at my place of work £37.12. Anyhow I didn't hear anything more from Servicing Stop except to say that the payment had been accepted so I waited for the car. 6.00 p.m. arrived and I called Servicing Stop, they said that the car was on it's way back and it would definately be delivered by the latest 7.00 p.m. So 7.00 p.m. arrives the car is still not back I call the Servicing Stop line again and they tell me that they can't get hold of the driver. Call again at 8.00 p.m. if it hasn't arrived. I've now missed two social appointments I made thinking that I'd have had the car back. I call again at 8.00 p.m. I ask to speak to someone senior, but this seems to fall on deaf ears, I'm told again that the car is on it's way and will be there in 20 minutes. I ask what happens if it doesn't arrive, I'm told I'll be connected to Customer Service, (who have I been speaking to for two hours?) At 8.30 p.m. the car shows up the driver unaware of anything, he starts by asking if I'd had the list of things that they had recommended to be corrected, I tell him I've been calling every hour since 6.00 p.m. to find out where the car is, he looks at me as if I've grown an extra head, I admit to being very curt, but not rude, I just told him that I wouldn't be using Servicing Stop again. I was very annoyed though. I called the Servicing Stop lady (Michaela) to tell her that the car had arrived, and to cancel the Spark Plug cover fitting, I will get that done elsewhere, she apologies profusely, I interrupted her and said it's all very well her apologising but this doesn't help with the catalogue of things that have happened at the inconvenience of the customer, I told her that I wouldn't be using Servicing Stop again. So here I am, telling you all about it, I can see that lots of people have had a very good experience like I did last year. I'm very dissappointed though, I'll be off to Halfords at the weekend to get the bulbs and Kwik-Fit for the exhaust. The tyres will get done next week at Costco. Filters and hub cap off eBay. The fuel flush out I'll ask another garage, my friend has just given me a recommendation for a garage she uses locally. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS https://www.theguardian.com/money/2017/mar/18/servicing-stop-charges-can-add-up-car-garage-driving Should of read this article first before dealing with Sevicing Stop My vehicle was serviced and the MOT done at an additional cost of 313.93, bringing the total to 411.49 Pounds for a hand brake adjustment and cleaning of some parts. They suggested a payment plan over 6 months, to which I agreed, but on completion of the forms the bank I use (Starling Bank) was rejected, same card I used to pay for the full service and MOT. I let them know what was happening and was told that they would revert to their finance department and get back to me which didn't happen. So I loaned some money and made a full payment this morning as my vehicle was not released yesterday 18/10 I have tried phoning them repeatedly to let them know that the payment has been made, only to get the engaged tone or unanswered calls and no one has bothered phoning me back either. After writing this review, one of the Servicing Stop Managers Michael was in contact on Tuesday the 19th October to try and resolve this matter. I was told telephonically that the vehicle would be delivered today the 20th October 2021 between a window of 9am-10am or 1pm to 2pm, and till now no call and no response as to when delivery will take place On the 22nd of October, I had still not received my vehicle and phoned the customer care manager Michael did I receive a call from the garage to say my car would be delivered in 15min, otherwise I do not think I would have my vehicle. I was also told by him that he would give me a full refund for any inconvenience caused. After inspection of my vehicle I see that the service light is still on. The following is the correspondence mail Michael Nathan Tue, Oct 19, 5:33 PM (1 day ago) to me Dear Matias, I hope this email finds you well. Thank you for taking the time to speak with me today. Once again I am sorry for any inconvenience caused due to the lack of correspondence from us in relation to your vehicle. I will endeavour to keep you updated and get your vehicle back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime can you please send me over your Bank details so that I can reimburse you for this matter. Also If you would not mind writing a short review on trustpilot based on myself and how I handled the situation leaving my name in the heading I would appreciate it. -- Regards, Michael Nathan Service Care Manager read more

I recently used Servicing Stop for a full service and some additional work on my vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. After paying £750 for what I believed was a comprehensive service, including brake fluid and fuel filter replacements, my car broke down just two days later. Concerned, I hired a different specialist to diagnose the problem, and what they found was shocking. It turned out that almost none of the work I had paid for had actually been done. The fuel filter was over 10 years old and had clearly not been replaced, the air filter and cabin filter were untouched, and the brake fluid was never changed. Even more concerning, a 4-inch split in the turbo boost pipe, which was leaking oil everywhere, had been completely missed--something that any competent mechanic would have noticed immediately. In my opinion, this was not just poor service but outright fraud. I was charged for work that was never carried out, and my car was returned in a worse condition than before. I have provided photographic evidence and a detailed report to Servicing Stop, but so far, their response has been slow and unsatisfactory. I strongly advise others to think twice before using Servicing Stop. My experience has been nothing but a costly mistake, and I hope to prevent others from going through the same ordeal. Let's Claim Our Money Back Together If you've had a similar experience with Servicing Stop, I encourage you to connect with me through this email - a.matousu@gmail.com. Together, we can take collective action to claim our money back and hold them accountable for their fraudulent practices. I booked what I thought would be a routine service through Servicing Stop, expecting a straightforward and fairly priced experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be much more expensive and frustrating than I anticipated. Once my car was collected, I was contacted about additional work - including a brake fluid flush and a "special oil" for my Hyundai Kona - all at prices much higher than what local garages charge. I was told that if I didn't agree to pay £140 extra for this oil, my service book wouldn't be stamped. This left me feeling pressured into paying, as I would have had to arrange another service elsewhere just to get the stamp. In total, what started as a £140 pre-paid service turned into a £277 bill, without any real additional work being done. The invoice listed charges for an oil flush and the "special oil price difference," none of which were mentioned in the original quote. Trying to reach Servicing Stop by phone afterward was nearly impossible - the line either rang endlessly or appeared invalid, leaving me feeling like I'd been blocked once they had my payment. While the car collection and return service is convenient, the lack of pricing transparency, upselling pressure, and inability to easily contact them made this a terrible experience. When the garage dropped off my car, the driver looked shocked at the invoice and even confirmed that they themselves would never charge such inflated prices for oil. Overall, I left feeling overcharged, pressured, and completely dissatisfied. I would not recommend Servicing Stop to anyone looking for an honest, fairly priced service. read more

Title: Avoid Servicing Stop - Poor Service and Hidden Charges Rating: 1/5 I recently had a very disappointing experience with Servicing Stop. Despite agreeing to a flat fee for my car service, I was later told I needed to pay an additional £40 for "special oil" that I did not authorize. The company refused to return my vehicle until this charge was paid, which I found unacceptable - The Mechanic actually confirmed later that he had not put specialist oil in the car and that Servicing Stop always charge for Specialist oil even when the car hasn't received it. The customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive, making it difficult to resolve the issue. I was not informed about any additional charges when booking the service, and the lack of transparency is concerning. I also received emails from them confirming that I had authorised the specialist oil when I hadn't, this was very alarming. I strongly advise against using Servicing Stop due to their poor service quality and deceptive billing practices. The stress and inconvenience caused by their actions are not worth the initial low price they advertise. Recommendation: Do not trust Servicing Stop with your vehicle. Look for more reliable and transparent service providers. read more

Shocking service. £164 for an MOT and interim service, which turned out to be just an oil change! Add to that a quote of £650 for MOT repairs, including £50 to change a headlamp, and they're laughing. Apparently the reason it costs £1.10 to get a headlamp changed at the local garage and £50 to get it changed by ServicingStop is something to do with inflation and VAT. Riiiight I later got independent quotes for the same repairs from both my local garage and the garage that ServicingStop had sent the car to, and both were a couple hundred pounds cheaper than the quote ServicingStop had given me. For those who think that this company's affiliation with Dragon's Den means it's a reputable company, this is what Deborah Meaden says on her website: Important announcement re Servicing Stop Following a number of complaints regarding the service provided by Servicing Stop, Deborah would like to make it clear that although she made an offer in the Den, the investment did not go through and Deborah is not in any way connected with Servicing Stop. Dragon's Den don't even want to be associated with them. Frankly I'm not surprised! Too bad you can't leave zero stars on this site. read more

Just got my Ford's service and MOT done. The car was collected at agreed time. After that I had to chase the progress of the service. In afternoon I got a call and the person gave me a long list of what extras are needed to be done. Like filter which can be bought for £10 , they charge you £50. If oils needs replacement (break, antifreez) they will charge you around £50 , they charged me £245 just for break disks and pads. I was thinking to get the service done within £300 budget but they changed me nearly £800 after I declined some oil and filter changes as the guy was asking for about £1000. If you go to a private garage for a service and buy the necessary parts and oils from europarts, you can save a huge amount of money. This was my first time with this company and will be the last time as well. I will not recommend to anyone to use this ripping service. The only thing they say is all our parts comes with 12 months warranty thats why we are charging that much. (really? even oils and filters?) They wont pass your MOT until you say yes to their quotation. I could have saved about £300 using my own private mechanic. read more

I want to give these guys 0 stars. Seriously, that bad. Terrible service, bad garages to do the work, lots of problems after servicing with faults showing up that they claim are a coincidence, trying to add on lots of unnecessary extra replacements or bits of work. They start out looking like they'll be cheap and it only goes up from there. They're cheap in the bad sense of the word. Go to a local independent garage. Get good, honest people to work on your car. It'll start off sounding more expensive but will work out much, much better value in the long run. Personally I will never ever let them anywhere near my car again. It's a shame people like this exist because they make us all lose trust in mechanics and the people who genuinely do a decent job. This isn't an isolated incident judging by all the people who've had problems here: http://incompetencetoday.blogspot.co.uk/2010/01/servicing-stop-reviews.html read more

I booked online and received an email and text to confirm all was booked . On the morning of the 12th, Alan collected my car and informed me of how everything works. He assured me that my warranty would remain intact and assured me all parts were Vauxhall approved. At lunch time I received a call to say my car was ready. I was offered a couple of extra services such as a fuel system flush, but I declined as the car is only a year old. No hard sell from the agent. A couple of hours later and my car was back on the driveway. Would definitely recommend their service, and £90 cheaper than Vauxhall! read more

I was highly impressed with the seamless service and simplicity of using Servicing Stop to MOT my car. Without leaving my house the car was collected and delivered within the time slots allocated by friendly and very courteous drivers. The payment was simple on line and the customer care team answered my queries knowledgeably and actually seemed to care. As a woman I've always been a bit skeptical of mechanics and garages and always prepared for the worst when visiting a garage in the form of a hefty bill! I was apprehensive about using an online service because you're not there to see it all yourself but it was the best thing I've ever done (my life sounds really interesting at this point) It was an easy process, I didn't have to go to the garage and I just got a call to say it had passed it's MOT and that once I'd paid it would be returned for the school run. It's a great little business that I'm so glad I found! read more

Used this company for the first time for my MOT. Arranged for car to be collected from home between 9 and 10am and to be returned between 4 and 6pm. Collection took place on time and mid morning received a call to say MOT passed and car could be returned within 2 hours if this suited me. In fact car back on my drive approx 1 hour later. The company sent me an email with link to pay online....straightforward and simple. Very helpful and efficient. Extremely eady booking process. Saved a lot of headache. Definitely use again. Absolutely ridiculous, they find things wrong with your vehicle that don't need addressing/fixing and then charge you double. Our vehicle was delivered in a worse state, than when it was picked up. Customer service takes between 5 and 7 days to respond, so we haven't had a working vehicle for over a week (over the Christmas period). We ended up taking it to a reputable garage and paying even more money out. Please read all the other negative reviews of this company, before making the same mistake we did. read more

Excellent service from start to finish. Booked car in for MOT only, which was nearly half the price of the main dealer (Peugeot) and with collection and delivery from home in Sheffield (saving me time and effort in dropping the car off and collecting). Needed some remedial work, which was expected, and price quoted was reasonable and work done and car dropped off the same day. Was offered additional work but not pressured into taking it. Would use again and definitely recommend. read more

What an absolute disaster this service has been for me. You can communicate with a complaint but they ignore you if it is not in the garages favour. What they forget is that if a complaint is ignored long enough we have an option. For me as you have chosen not to reply I have no option but go through with the AA legal procedure.
